The Loire Valley / Sarthe region
The Loire Valley is well known for its castles. The summer weather is so cool that it is also known as "garden of the France". In this part of the West of FRANCE, people are very friendly. This is only 1 hour south of Chateau de La Gagnerie.
To the North approximately one hour, you'll find 'Le Mans' with the famous race "Les 24 Heures".
Moreover the chateau is only two hours from Paris, by car and only 1,5 hour by train.
Chateau du Loir area
Le mans with the "24 hours" race. Tours : the American Loire Valley festival. Azay le Rideau, Chenonceau, Cheverny , Blois... all are famous Loire Valley Castles. You may have heard of them, you'll be less than an hour from them.
