The detached ex goat farm is some 200 years old and is full of delightful character. Each room either has hardwood or stone floors which have been tastefully decorated with quality period furniture to the highest standard. Three of the five bedrooms are south facing with beautiful views over the rolling countryside. The property has oil fired central heating throughout and a large inglenook fireplace. The newly fitted kitchen has a La Canche cooker - perfect for people that love cooking! The patio is a real sun trap and offers total seclusion, it has a large table that seats 6/8 people and is perfect under the Mulberry tree which provides excellent shade. Large BBQ and plentiful supply of sunloungers etc ensure the perfect holiday.

Property is set in rural position surrounded by small farms where the reddy brown Limousin cattle are raised. Extremely quiet lanes and tracks all around are perfect for walking or cycling. The historic towns of Limoges and Angouleme are well worth a visit where cobbled streets and cafe's are in abundance. The area also offers good fishing.
Chasseneuil area
Confolens is a beautiful town set on the river Vienne which holds a World Music event every August.(30 minutes away) La Rochefoucauld with its lovely chateau is 20 minutes away. Nearby lakes (30 minutes) offer swimming, surfing and other water sports, there is also a newly opened tree top adventure centre. Two golf courses within 30 mins.

There are two stairs which are not your "norm" which could prove difficult to ascend/descend for the elderly or infirmed. Music centre and games for guests.
Further details outdoors: Newly installed pool is 11M x 5M and is 1m to 2m deep. With underwater and flood lighting means late night swimming is very popular. Heating for pool is available at an extra charge. Property is situated within its own 2 acres in the rolling countryside with stunning views towards the Dordogne and includes table tennis and badmington there are also 5 bikes (use at own risk).
