Chat-Huant is a newly renovated two-bedroom holiday cottage situated in the unspoilt hidden jewel of South West France - the Charente. Uniquely the cottage has an attached barn that now after renovation comprises a full leisure and fitness suite. The cottage and barn complex sit in the landscaped two acre grounds of the main property occupied by the resident owners.
The facilities make Chat Huant suitable all-year round for both a holiday - or by arrangement - a relaxing bespoke weekend break.

On ground floor of the cottage there is an open plan kitchen sitting room and dining area featuring the original bread oven. The fully fitted kitchen includes a gas range and combination microwave oven.
Leading off this main living area is an inner hall with utility room and WC. This hall provides direct access to the barn and its facilities.
Stairs from the living area access the first floor. The landing features original beams and has been designed to provide a quiet reading area.
On the first floor are two bedrooms - one king, one twin; a large shower room and an additional WC/washroom.

Visitors will have use of the extensive leisure facilities. Situated in a renovated barn of 80 sq m with original stonework and beams are a six person jacuzzi, a four person sauna and a range of professional standard gym equipment [rower, cross trainer, treadmill, bicycle]. Within this leisure suite are further seating areasand a walk-in shower. A large mezzanine is fitted with bunk beds and seating making it an ideal chill-out area for older children .
The cottage has a private sun terrace with barbeque.
Visitors will have access to the owners' 12m x 5m swimming pool which sits within its own 'Provence style' pool garden with pool house and extensive terracing. Within the grounds is also a private two acre fishing lake.

Conditions
The age of the property makes it unsuitable for disabled or wheelchair access. The nature of the area and its facilities may make it less suitable for young children - the owners will be happy to discuss individual requirements.
The facilities make the property ideal for bespoke all inclusive short breaks including airport transport and 'dine-around'. Owners will be happy to discuss.
