The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Twenty minutes from the centre of Lisbon, driving south, the ochre and blue unspoiled beaches on the coastline open on to a vast Atlantic horizon. Verging on the white sands of the Atlantic coast is AROEIRA, the Lisbon Country Club's 350 hectares golf estate which, together with its luxurious private beach installations and tennis courts, is surely the most attractive development of its kind in Portugal. In terms of gastronomy, the Southern part of Lisbon is an area of the most freshly caught fish with an abundance of sea food. The customary high quality of the catch justifies that certain species are often associated with these places: whiting, swordfish, sea Bass, daurade and clams from Sesimbra and red mullet and crabs from Setúbal. Cheese made from ewe's milk in Azeitão and wines produced in the region of Palmela, with special emphasis on "Moscatel" and "Periquita" varieties, are also intemationally renowned for their high quality.
Charneca da Caparica / Aroeira area
Aroeira is situated in a natural reserve "Arrabida Fossil", a geologic formation composed of sedimentary rocks with about 15 milions years, rich in fossil material, one of the most important geologic places in Europe. Aroeira is the largest golf resort in Lisbon Area with two 18 holes golf courses. Providing the perfect environment for the whole family to have a relaxing or action-packed stay, clubhouse with restaurant, snack-bar and bar, jogging paths, a golf shop, golf school, driving range, swimming pool and 4 tennis courts. You dont need to be a golfer to stay in Aroeira, less than 1 km from the resort, you have a strech of 30 km of the most beautiful beachs of Portugal. Starting from the lively beaches near the centre of the village "Costa da Caparica", to the almost deserted beaches (and also naturist) of the south zone, passing trough the ideal for water or sand sports.
How to get there
From the Lisbon Airport: The apartment is easily accessible by car from the Lisbon airport, 30 minutes drive. Follow the direction for highway A2 Sul. Cross the bridge "25 de Abril" and turn right, direction "Costa da Caparica". Follow the freeway (IC20) until you arrive to Costa da Caparica. Turn left following the sign "Golf" (orange colour) and drive south along the beach for 7 km. At the fork, take the right hand side ( 2nd indication "golf"). Drive for 3 km, pass the Fonte da Telha Beach and turn left ( 3rd indication "golf"), drive for 500 metres and turn right ( 4th indication "golf").

Arrival/ Departure for week stay, from Saturday till Saturday prefered. Minimum stay 3 nights. Arrival from 15.00 to 20.00. In case of delay it is essential to contact owner or person in charge of the keys within the a/m period in order to guarantee the respective delivery. Departure until 10.00. Refundable breakages deposit of 200 euros required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). Should the number of persons occupying the object exceed the number of persons reserved / reconfirmed, the owner reserves the right to refuse admission. Swimming pool open according to season and closed on Monday. Tennis and golf (admission fee). Smoking allowed.
Conditions
48 hours of pre-booking will be secured before your confirmation by payment 30% of the amount due. In case of cancellation, the cancellation fee will be: Up to 60 days prior to arrival 10 % of the total amount. Up to 45 days prior to arrival 20 % of the total amount. Up to 30 days prior to arrival 50 % of the total amount. Up to 21 days prior to arrival 70 % of the total amount. Less than 21 days prior to arrival or "no show" 100 % of the total amount.
