Located in the foot hills of Nevis Peak with cooling breezes and panoramic views. With our own private pool and tennis court, and standing in 2 acres of beautiful terraced gardens, Hill Rise House offers absolute privacy.
We are at the western end of the old Montpelier plantation estate with the Botanical Gardens and the famous Montpelier Hotel a short walk up the road.
Enjoy one of the best views on Nevis Island, to the west for glorious sunsets over the Caribbean Sea, north west to the twinkling lights of our sister island of St. Kitts and northwards to the majesty of Nevis Peak. Day and night, our views are spectacular!
The architecture and furnishings are in traditional colonial style. Some of the antique furniture dates back about 200 years to the days of Lord Nelson (who was married here on Nevis). For out door living, we have a number of large covered verandas, a large swimming pool with cabana and a private tennis court. Traditional BBQ in the garden.
Four bedrooms, all with en suite facilities, are in two self contained houses set discreetly apart. With two bedrooms in each house, the layout is perfect for a large family or two groups travelling together but needing their own privacy from time to time. We have a huge kitchen in the main house which can cater for large parties, and a smaller kitchen in the guest cottage.
Complimentary WiFi, and a sound system to plug in to your music player. Old fashioned cable TV which is just about good enough for the news (who comes to Nevis to watch TV?).
In case of need, our backup diesel generator is located far away in the gate house, with remote control by guests from the main house.
Always for exclusive occupancy, our rental rates are scaled according to the amount of accommodation required, making the property affordable for large or small groups.
We provide a complimentary maid and laundry service Monday to Saturday and we have a full time gardener. Our 40' x 20' pool is serviced twice a week by outside contractor.
We recommend car rental for the duration of your stay, as you will need it for shopping, eating out and to explore our little island. Our favourite beach is just 15 minutes drive away, and nowhere in the island is more than half an hour.
