Welcome to the shady balconies and sunny terraces of Pano Stalos Villas. Here we offer our Villa Hannah, beautifully maintained with its own large private pool, Villa Hannah sits on a tranquil hillside above the traditional Cretan hamlet of Pano Stalos, commanding stunning view’s of the sea, White Mountains, Chania and beyond.
Villa Hannah will comfortably accommodate 1/8 guests. Perfect for a relaxing holiday and ideally placed for you to explore the beautiful beaches and historic surroundings of Western Crete, Villa Hannah is fully air-conditioned and available to rent through-out the year. English owners live nearby and are available to offer advice and assistance. A complimentary welcome pack is provided and there is a maid service twice weekly.

The Crete region
Crete is the largest of the Greek islands with bags of character, we know you'll love it. Crete has everything from gorgeous sands to pebble coves and dramatic cliffs. It's steeped in legend, soaked in sunshine, and littered with little villages, like nearby Pano Stalos. For night life there is the beautiful city of Chania only 30 minutes by car
Walkers will love the wild and rugged Samaria Gorge – a sturdy hike from the hills to the sea. Shoppers are spoilt for choice for stunning jewellery, leather bags, boots and belts, and arty studio ceramics. And if sightseeing is more your thing, you won't beat the island home of the Minotaur for Roman ruins, Minoan palaces and beautiful Byzantine churches.
The Chania / Pano Stalos area
PANO STALOS
Pano Stalos is an authentic Cretan Village which boasts three excellent tavernas, all three serve delicious local cuisine. There is a small village shop with a very friendly shop keeper who speaks good English but loves it when you attempt a little Greek. This peaceful village has views of the White Mountains and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. At the bottom of the hill, some 7/8 minutes away by car, close to the sea shore is Kato Stalos.
KATO STALOS
In contrast to the more peaceful Pano Stalos, Kato Stalos has plenty of bars, tavernas, and restaurants.There are excellent facilities here, banks, hotels supermarkets and businesses offering excursions to the Samaria gorge, the Palace of Knossos and other local tourist spots.
The long sandy beaches are excellent and have been awarded the exclusive Blue flag standard.There are water sports and plenty of children’s activities on offer.
CHANIA
Crete’s second city of Chania is also only a 30 minute drive away.A must for all visitors to the area, Chania has a stunning Venetian harbour where you can catch a sight seeing tour by horse and carriage or a 30 minute trip out to sea on a glass bottom boat. There are museums and a huge indoor market. Chania is an excellent place to shop for clothes, jewellery, leather goods and local art and ceramics.There are lots of bars, restaurants and clubs to keep you refreshed and on your toes.
