Villa Meah is a traditionally built stone house situated in the peaceful hillside village of Kefalas but within minutes drive of the beautiful seaside resorts of Almirida, Georgioupoli and Kalives. This spacious 3 bedroomed villa has been furnished to a high standard with traditional Cretan furniture. The 2 double bedrooms on the first floor each have French windows opening onto a large balcony with stunning views of the White Mountains, an ideal place to sit and watch the sun rise and set. This beautiful villa provides home from home comfort providing a traditional Greek experience.

The Crete region
Crete! An island of natural beauty, history, memory and culture. The western part of this island offers miles of golden, sandy beaches, historic regions, unique landscapes, high mountains which are covered in snow during winter. May till October are usually sunny and warm. The summer however is hot, with July and August being the hottest months of the year.
A visit to the ancient city of Xania (Chania), once the island capital and less than 25 kms, is a must.
Chania / Kefalas area
Villa Meah is situated in the village of Kefalas - a traditional Cretan working village where you will find tavernas and mini markets. Golden sandy beaches can be found in nearby Almirida, Kalyves and Georgioupoli, where you will also find many tavernas, shops, gift and coffee shops lining the pretty waterfronts. Villa Meah makes an ideal 'base' for those clients wishing to explore the west (and the best) of Crete. The White Mountains form a wonderful backdrop. In the market village of Vamos, 4kms away, again there are shops, mini markets and tavernas serving traditional Cretan food. There are many beaches, coves and small villages throughout this lovely part of western Crete - all of them just waiting for you to explore!!
How to get there
During summer season direct flights from several UK airports to Chania and Heraklion. In the winter UK flights are via Athens with transfers to Crete with Olympic or Aegean .
Villa Meah is approx 45 minutes drive from Chania Airport and approx 2 hours from Heraklion Airport. Directions from both airports available on booking.
Many car hire firms available at both airports. Local car hire firms can be recommended upon request.

Further details indoors: The well equipped modern kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, microwave, oven hob and dishwasher. The dining area has a dining table and seats 6 and a large furnished living room with TV/DVD and CD player.
Also on the ground floor there is another twin bedroom. The 2 double bedrooms on the first floor each have fitted wardrobes. The bathroom on the First Floor has bath/shower and washing machine.
The villa has full air conditioning and central heating making it available for all year round lets.
Further details outdoors: To the rear of the property is a patio area with stone built BBQ. Dining furniture for 6 is provided for those who like to relax, eat and drink outside. The large upstairs balcony has its own furniture for you to sit and enjoy the view of the White Mountains.
The 3m x 10m tiled pool has a sunbathing area with sunbeds and umbrellas provided.
There is secure off-road parking for two cars at the front of the villa.
