About the home
Alpine Chalet is self catering and sleeps 8/9 and has 4 bedrooms (2 double and 2 twin) and comfortable living space with a traditional log fire (wood provided), HIFI, large plasma TV, DVD and video, dining for 10, a well-equipped kitchen including dishwasher, as well as a wet room with washing machine, tumble drier and ski storage space. FREE broadband Internet and WIFI throughout the chalet.
Alpine Chalet sleeps 8/9 and has 4 comfortable bedrooms, all with asthma friendly non-allergenic bedding and luxury 100% cotton linen and towels. The well-appointed master bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and balcony with stunning panoramic views across the valley to the ski slopes, mountains and lake; a further two bedrooms have single bunk beds (one with an extra futon bed) and share this balcony. The fourth bedroom is a pretty double bedroom. (A baby cot and cot linen is available as is a single futon as an extra child’s bed.) A family bathroom and a separate shower and WC serve all bedrooms.
Lovely Location: Alpine Chalet is nestled in the mountains of Saint Bernard country just a few minutes from Champex's ski slopes and a short stroll into the village of Champex-Lac, one of the friendliest ski stations in Switzerland and only 90 minutes from Geneva.
Champe-Lac has skiing above 2000 metres and is just 25 minutes from Verbier/4 Valleys. Champex Lac’s extensive hiking and location on the Tour de Mont Blanc route combine to make it an ideal winter and summer holiday destination.

A local agent arranges for guests to be greeted and supplied with keys, they support you during their stay.
Conditions
A Swiss tourist tax (taxe de sejour) of CHF 2 per adult and CHF 1 per child 6-16 per night is not included and is payable at the tourist office or through our local agent.
Credit card details are taken as collateral against damage.
All prices quoted in Swiss Francs, any transfer/commission fees are payable by the guests
Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival 2pm and departure 10am, unless otherwise agreed. No pets. Smoking is not allowed in the chalet.
The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region
Alpine Chalet is nestled in the mountains of Saint Bernard country beneath La Breya just a few minutes from the ski slopes and a short stroll into the village of Champex-Lac, one of the friendliest ski stations in Switzerland and only 90 minutes from Geneva.
With skiing above 2000 metres and just 25 minutes from Verbier/4 Valleys; Champex Lac’s extensive cross country skiing, crowd free skiing and a Swiss Snow-sports School, nursery slope with night skiing, ice skating, hiking and walking, tennis, swimming, fishing all combine to make it an ideal winter and summer holiday destination. Best known for being one of two places where people start the Tour of Mont Blanc route and Ultra Trail endurance race. Champex-Lac has trout fishing, swimming and boating.
The Champex Lac area
Champex-Lac has a fascinating underground fortress built in the 1940s and used by the Swiss Army and the beautiful alpine garden on its sunny southern slope of Mount Catogne and is only a 20 minute drive to the historic Roman town of Martigny. The extensive ski resort of Verbier/4 Valleys is only 25 minutes away.

Alpine Chalet is around 90 minutes from Geneva International airport. It can be reached by car or train (Geneva to Martigny or Orsiere each about 20 minutes drive from Champex lac - taxis are available at both stations).
During the ski season there are charter flights from the UK to Sion (30 minutes drive from Champex).

This is the best house that we have could imagine to stay with our friends! When I found it on the web, I thought that it's not true but there are real fotos and very reasonable price! It was nine of us over there but it is enouth space for such company and too comfortable! And it is not far from the ski resorts!! That was very important for us! |

My family from the US was visiting for the holidays, and the location was beautiful - lots of snow and very scenic. The chalet was extremely cozy and just perfect for quality family time. We loved it! |
