"Idyllic Gite...perfect little get-away"
We loved this cosy little Gite. Just perfect for what we wanted....a week of peace & tranquillity...walking, cycling and running in the hills of the Auvergne. Wendy & Michael are lovely hosts and are always there if you need them without being intrusive. What we loved most of all was that we were able to walk/run/cycle somewhere different every day straight from our door. A nice easy little walk(about 45 mins round trip) is down(and of course up!)through the forest to Champagnac le Vieux to visit the boulangerie..delicious!
We are so pleased that you liked our country gite/cottage and the surrounding area, forest, countryside and hills. We are in an ideal location for outdoor sports or just for relaxing by the local lake, having picnics in the countryside or relaxing with a glass or two of wine and a good book in the cottage garden. Thank you for your kind review. Wendy and Michael

"Fabulous location, but bedroom access awkward"
We had a fabulous holiday. Mike and Wendy were most welcoming and always helpful. The gite was well equipped and in a beautiful and extremely quiet location. We managed to use it as an effective base from which to explore the Auvergne. The only drawbacks were that the access to the bedroom (upstairs) involved ducking under a 3ft-6in (107cm) beam and the 'en-suite' bathroom was downstairs.
