About the home

Conveniently located homely atmosphere. 1 minute drive to les Houches town centre. 1 min drive to local shop. Very close to Chamonix so benefiting from both resorts facilities. Easy parking and right next to chalet. You will feel like you have got away "from it all" in this magnificent setting right beneath the Mont Blanc. We can provide linen and towels upon request.

We have created an atmosphere of tranquility and ease whilst on your holiday. No TV, no videos so that it obliges you to play games, read, relax, and totally switch off. We can provide wi-fi or internet access without a problem, if you so wish. children are very welcome as well as extremely well-behaved pets!

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

The French alps and haute Savoie are best known for the mountains, the fresh clean air, the quiet calm atmosphere. You can enjoy the views and relax or indulge in adrenalin-rush sports from rafting to canyoning to climbing, and of course skiing. We have the famous "Vallee Blanche" to offer you which is 22km of non-stop skiing...not for the faint-hearted nor unfit!!

The Chamonix / Les Houches area

We are in the heart of the French Alps. So in summer walking, climbing, canyoning, swimming can all be done. In winter, we have our own ski slopes or else you can choose from 4 different ski areas within Chamonix. Depending on whether you would like to be North or South facing, family-friendly to extreme adrenalin rush skiing, the choice is endless. I am happy to help in whichever way possible to give you advice, help or point you in the right direction!
Les Houches reminds one of Canada as you ski within pine forests and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed.

“An amazing time near Chamonix” My family had a fabulous stay in Les Houches. The flat was great for a family with young children. There are so many things to do and see nearby. The view from the patio up towards Mont Blanc was stunning. We stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The Cookes were very hospitable and helpful. I would highly recommend it either in summer or winter. sincerely, Justus Heyman
