This newly furnished, adorable two bedroom apartment has gorgeous views over the mountains. It is situated right by the famous Les Grands Montets ski area and lifts in the centre of Argentiere, Chamonix Mt Blanc. It provides a fantastic base for skiing holidays in the winter or hiking and climbing in the summer. If you like the outdoors, prepare to fall in love!

Chamonix / Argentiere area
About the Chamonix Valley: The Chamonix Valley is famous for its unbeatable range of winter and summer sports and all mountain activities. There is something for everyone, from gentle hiking trails and bunny slopes perfect for beginners and children, to advanced off-piste skiing and rock- or Alpine climbing routes for the more hard-core extreme sports lovers. Other activities include cycling, paragliding, golf and cross-country ski / ski touring.
Fantastic local companies organize different courses, experienced mountain guides and ski instructors as well as all equipment hire to help you get the most of your holiday.
How to get there
Fly Easyjet / BA / Swissair / many more budget and non-budget airlines to Geneva.
We recommend Hertz car hire from the airport, but there are numerous options (Avis, Budget..). Make sure you have reserved your vehicle during busy seasons, or if arriving late at night!
Driving: Argentiere is 1h drive from Geneva. Follow France - Tunnel Mt Blanc - Chamonix - Toutes directions - Argetiere
Grand Roc apartments on the right hand side is just after a service station on your left and an Intersport on your right. Then Grand Roc shopping centre with small shops and bar and pizzeria. Drive through the carpark down the ramp to the carpark of Grand Roc apartments.
By train: to Chamonix Mt Blanc and Argentiere. Apartment is 2 minutes walk from Argentiere train station.
Location and connections: Grand Roc is in the centre of Agrentiere, Chamonix Mt Blanc, 2 minutes walk from Les Grands Montets ski lifts, train station, shops and restaurants. 10 minute drive to Chamonix town.
Ski buses operate between the different ski areas of the Chamonix Valley during the winter, and they stop right outside the apartments. Local trains operate between the villages (Including Argentiere) and Chamonix town. The apartment is just 2 minutes from Argentiere train station.

Further details indoors: The two cosy bedrooms, a double (with mountain view) and a twin are upstairs with the bathroom.
Downstairs fully functional open plan kitchen, dining/living area and balcony -all overlooking the majestic mountains-, as well as a separate toilet and “wet boots area”. Ski locker and free parking are also available.
The two bedrooms sleep total 4 people. Sofa-bed in the living area sleeps 2.
The apartment is furnished for maximum comfort and has a selection of books, useful maps, games and an iPod stand with speakers. The interior is decorated in a modern yet cozy country style.
Further details outdoors: A variety of shops, restaurants and ski / equipment / bike rental shops are just minutes walk from the apartment.
The famous Les Grands Montets ski area and lifts are next to the Grand Roc apartments, hence offering a very easy access to the best slopes in the Alps!

Famous Chamonix-Experience just 2 minutes walk away offers mountain guides, tours, maps, courses and information. Tourist information, cash machine, train station and all services can be found in the centre of Argentiere just minutes from the apartment.
It is not necessary to have a car, but it does make you a lot more independent and enables you to explore the valley further, especially recommended for a longer stay.
Further details
The building has a lift, but there are stairs in the two-level apartment. Both bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. hence not suitable for persons who find climbing stairs challenging!

Conditions
- 25% non-refundable deposit required to confirm your booking. You can pay by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.
- Balance to be paid by 30 days before arrival date.
- Cancellations less than 30 days before are dealt with case by case. (If we can find another rental in your place you can be refunded)
- Any major damage in the apartment during a stay to be paid by client. -If you break a glass it's no big deal! If there is anything wrong with the apartment on your arrival, please let us know and we'll try and fix it for you ASAP.
