Chalet Hideaway is a traditional chalet right next to the ski slopes in Les Houches. It’s ideally located for those seeking a quiet, idyllic location in a beautiful setting. The Les Houches ski slopes pass the end of the chalet garden and it’s a short walk (300m) to the nearest chair lift.
The chalet is surrounded by a large lawned garden but most of it is unsuitable for outdoor dining due to the hillside location. However, ample dining space and spectacular views can be enjoyed from the balcony which is accessed from the lounge area.
The accommodation comprises of a cosy lounge area with a log burning fire, a well equipped kitchen and dining area. There are two bathrooms, two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with three single beds and an additional pull out single bed. The chalet has a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The Rhone Alps sit on the Eastern side of France and this area specifically borders Italy, via the famous Mont Blanc tunnel and Switzerland both accessible by car, train or bus within 30 minutes. Other places of interest which can be reached within easy driving distance for day trips are Annecy, Geneva, Evian and Gruyere.
Chamonix / Les Houches area
Chamonix is the hub of this world famous ski and alpine area, situated in the north west of the alps 15km from both the Italian and Swiss borders. Mont Blanc (4808m) and its chain of peaks dominate the valley. Chamonix is probably best known as the skiing and alpine capital of the world. As a destination it has a reputation for the extreme and this, whilst undoubtedly true, can mask a wide array of other sporting and leisure activities that can be enjoyed here.

Further details indoors: Ground level an entry, which has ample space for storage of ski equipment and outdoor wear. First floor. Lounge with a wood fire, dining area, kitchen, TV (French channels), CD player. Large patio doors lead you to a spacious balcony with balcony chairs, a table and loungers from which you can relax and enjoy the view! The kitchen has a cooking hob with gas/electric rings, a microwave, a dishwasher and and a mini oven. There is a bathroom with a shower, a washbasin, a washing machine and a drier. There is also a separate toilet. Second floor. 3 bedrooms: one large second bathroom with a bath, a washbasin, a bidet and a toilet. Bedroom 1 has three single beds and bedrooms 2 and 3 have one double bed.
Further details outdoors: This is a real 'away from it all' Chalet, situated up a hill away from shops and a car is highly recommended.
