"Couldn't of been much dirtier"

I will start by saying this is a very well placed chalet at affordable prices. However this does NOT excuse the fact that when we arrived we had to spend 4 hours cleaning the chalet. We had mouse drop… More

This review is simply not true - I cleaned the chalet personally - it was clean and tidy when they arrived. These guests were a nightmare from the moment they booked. They wouldn't pay the rent through Holiday Lettings, insisting on paying it direct to me, but each member of the party paying their individual contribution! Then one member of the party's payment kept not arriving in my bank, then he dropped out - I only received the final tranche of the rental a long time after the due date. There were no complaints about the supposed dirty state of the chalet during their stay, the only communication was to ask for the code for the wifi. I think when they returned they decided to try and complain in the hope of getting a discount when they realised how much electricity they had used - all the heaters were left on MAX. They put a lot of pressure to get the deposit refunded in full and expecting free electricity by pleading poverty. When I arrived at the chalet after their stay I found I had the most disgusting mess to clear up in the 25 years I have owned and rented this chalet.
