Chamois Blanc 420 is a completely refurbished 4th floor apartment (Summer 2013) that provides comfortable accommodation for up to four people.

The entrance opens into a small hallway with storage and the other rooms leading off. The kitchen is fully fitted and looks into the living area, with dining table for 4 and a double sofabed. There is a flatscreen TV with dvd player (french channels) and free Wifi. Folding doors can be opened between this area and the double bedroom to create a greater sense of space. The living area opens onto a small balcony overlooking peaceful gardens with fantastic views up the Chamonix Valley towards Argentière and le Tour.

The apartment has a ski locker on the lower ground level plus access to the Chamonix Sud underground car park where there is a space for guest use.

The Rhone/French Alps region

Skiing and snowboarding: Chamonix is one of the world's most famous ski areas, having hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924. Skiers and snowboarders of all levels are well-served in a variety of differing areas around Chamonix, including Brevent, Flegere, the famous Grands Montets and Domaine du Balme. The Mont Blanc pass also covers nearby areas including Les Houches, St Gervais, Megeve, Courmayeur and Les Contamines, all within an easy drive. Slightly further afield, but within an hour's drive are Verbier, La Thuile, Flaine and Les Carroz. Despite its reputation as an area for experts only, there are plenty of green, blue and red runs to satisfy beginners and intermediates alike. For the more experienced, Chamonix has miles and miles of adventurous off-piste, including the famous Vallee Blanche, an 18 km experience from the Aiguille du Midi down to the town.

Summer and the rest of the year: With the draw of Europe's premier natural attraction, Mont Blanc, Chamonix never sleeps. Whether it's simply to soak up the stunning scenery or get the adrenaline pumping, there is plenty for everybody to do all year round. There are a wide variety of marked trails for hiking and trekking; well-maintained bolted routes for rock-climbing; limitless mountaineering opportunities including Mont Blanc itself; an ever-expanding network of mountain bike trails; some of the most consistent thermals for superb paragliding; raging white water rapids for rafting and hydro speeding; canyoning and abseiling down the spectacular valley gorges; golf at the Trent Jones Sr designed 18 hole course in Chamonix, as well as many other top quality courses nearby; the sports centre has an indoor and outdoor 50 m swimming pool and a large grassed sunbathing area, water slides, numerous tennis courts, gym, spa, jacuzzi, the list goes on.

The apartment is in the recently completed Résidence le Paradis, which is situated right in the centre of Chamonix on Allée Recteur Payot.

Tucked away off the main street, it's location means that the numerous shops, bars and restaurants of the centre are a very short walk away. Rue Paccard, the main shopping street in Chamonix, is 2 minute's away on foot. The nearest supermarket is SuperU which is 150 metres from the apartment.

For access to the slopes, it is just a couple of hundred metres from the Savoy nursery slopes, which in turn give access to the Brévent ski area at Plan Praz. The nearest bus stop is 200m away.

In Resort we can help to pre-arrange all your in resort requirements e.g. ski-passes (delivered to your property), ski equipment, ski guiding or lessons, any summer or winter activity. "Great crashpad"

We needed a small apartment to extend our holiday and this was perfect. Despite being small it has everything we needed and everywhere was easily accesible. Definitely would reccommend to others.… More
