Home description
Perfect for skiing or summer, our apartment is 5 minutes from the ski lift and has a private residents pool and south facing terrace overlooking Mont Blanc for sunny days!
The apartment sleeps 6-10, with 8 adults being the optimum (most comfortable!) use of space. We can be flexible with regard to minimum stays and changeover days so please ask!
We have 3 double bedrooms (all with joinable twin beds) a large open plan kitchen and lounge nearly 9m long with sofabed, small bunk room with two bunk beds, and a bathroom and shower room. We are on the second floor and there is a lift.
There is ski hire shop just below the apartments and plenty of transfer companies which run shared taxis from Geneva airport.
We are located moments from the best Patisserie/Chocolatier in the village for those delicious breakfast morning runs, and right next to some of the best fondue houses and restaurants for the evenings. The cinema and bowling alley are also very close.
There is a 42' plasma screen for lazy days, WI-FI internet access, dishwasher and washer dryer, and ski locker.

Chamonix is one of the most convenient locations in the Alps, being just a 1-hour drive from Geneva airport. It is also home to some of the finest on and off-piste skiing in Europe, if not the world. Chamonix was the birth place of Alpinism, and skiers and mountain enthusiasts have flocked to this charming French town ever since.

Our apartment is in the centre of Chamonix village, just a 5 minute walk to the main lift of Brevant. This gives you access to the Brevant -Flegere ski areas (combined these form the largest ski area in the Chamonix valley). There are a further 3 large ski areas each of which can be reached by the free ski bus in less than 10 minutes (Les Houches, Grand Montets/Argentiere, Le Tour).

Although there are 6 beds, 2 bunks and a double sofabed, we recommend a comfortable level of 6 adults or 8 people including children. Rates are quoted in pounds sterling and payments should be made directly to our bank account - details will be given once the booking is agreed. Payment terms: A booking deposit of 40% of rental fee is payable on reservation. The balance is payable 12 weeks in advance or immediately if sooner. Damages (except fair wear and tear) will be taken from an additional refundable security deposit of £400. Linen & towels also provided upon request; £15 pp per week. There is a £45 cleaning charge per stay. Our changeover day is usually Saturday, especially in high season. Check in is 5pm and check out is 10am.

A super apartment in a great location in the town
Our party of 6, including my parents who are in their 70s, were all extremely comfortable on our visit to le beau site in Chamonix at Easter 2008. The apartment is stylishly decorated with a modern 'retro' theme, lots of space for everyone yet surprisingly cosy with sofas, tables and lamps and an impressive woodburning stove. It was great to sit around the big dining table in the evening after a day on the piste. My dad (77) skied for the first time at Le Savoy and La Tour. My mum did not ski but was happy to watch. This time we bought our lift tickets individually rather than the full pass upfront which saved a lot of money as on some days we skied just in the afternoon at Les Houches which had brilliant snow and was very quiet. We all also enjoyed a trip on the rack and pinion mountain railway to the mer de glace.
