About the home
Liarets 4 provides spacious accommodation over 3 levels. On the garden level, there is a comfortable living area with an open fire. There is WIFI and satellite TV provides a range of UK and French channels. The dining table seats 8 and is positioned infront of the sliding, glass doors which lead onto the south-facing terrace offering fabulous views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguilles du Chamonix. Also on this level is a flexible (double or twin) bedroom with ensuite shower room and a separate WC.
On the top floor, there are 2 further bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. They both have a flexible double bed and an additional single bed making the total capacity 8 people. The south facing balcony can be accessed from one of these bedrooms and from the landing.
At lower ground floor level, there is a private garage plus ski and boot storage areas.
The interiors of the Liarets chalets were designed by Leslie Gauthier, who completed the 4 star Hotel Morgane in Chamonix. The finishes are a mixture of antique oak parquet and traditional spruce, with modern contemporary features and hand made furniture from the Lacroix brothers.
The Chalets des Liarets are offered individually, in pairs or as a whole. Numbers 1/2 and 3/4 are linked by a lockable passageway and all 4 chalets can be accessed internally via the parking level, giving ultimate flexibility for any group up to 32 people.

Skiing and snowboarding: Chamonix is one of the world's most famous ski areas, having hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924. Skiers and snowboarders of all levels are well-served in a variety of differing areas around Chamonix, including Brevent, Flegere, the famous Grands Montets and Domaine du Balme. The Mont Blanc pass also covers nearby areas including Les Houches, St Gervais, Megeve, Courmayeur and Les Contamines, all within an easy drive. Slightly further afield, but within an hour's drive are Verbier, La Thuile, Flaine and Les Carroz. Despite its reputation as an area for experts only, there are plenty of green, blue and red runs to satisfy beginners and intermediates alike. For the more experienced, Chamonix has miles and miles of adventurous off-piste, including the famous Vallee Blanche, an 18 km experience from the Aiguille du Midi down to the town.
Summer and the rest of the year: With the draw of Europe's premier natural attraction, Mont Blanc, Chamonix never sleeps. Whether it's simply to soak up the stunning scenery or get the adrenaline pumping, there is plenty for everybody to do all year round. There are a wide variety of marked trails for hiking and trekking; well-maintained bolted routes for rock-climbing; limitless mountaineering opportunities including Mont Blanc itself; an ever-expanding network of mountain bike trails; some of the most consistent thermals for superb paragliding; raging white water rapids for rafting and hydro speeding; canyoning and abseiling down the spectacular valley gorges; golf at the Trent Jones Sr designed 18 hole course in Chamonix, as well as many other top quality courses nearby; the sports centre has an indoor and outdoor 50 m swimming pool and a large grassed sunbathing area, water slides, numerous tennis courts, gym, spa, jacuzzi, the list goes on.
The Chamonix / Les Praz area
The Chalets des Liarets are situated in the exclusive Plaine des Praz, an area to the east of Chamonix town and close to the village of les Praz, by the Flegere cable car and ski area. The hamlet of chalets sits amongst forests and other beautiful chalets, with fabulous views of Mont Blanc and the Drus. Very much a residential and quiet area, the chalets are nonetheless a short walk from les Praz with several popular restaurants and bars.
The town of Chamonix itself is a pleasant 20 minute walk along the river, or a short drive/bus trip away.
For skiers and snowboarders, it is well placed for access to Flegere, which is linked with Brevent, as well as Grands Montets (10 minutes), le Tour (20 minutes) and les Houches (20 minutes).

We can also arrange food hampers, welcome packs, breakfast and bespoke meals. This is a free service which is aimed to help you start enjoying your holiday from the moment you arrive.
We meet you at the property and are on hand throughout you visit.
