About the home

Chalet Apartment Chamonix Coeur Des Alpes is located 100metres from the centre of Chamonix within two minutes walk of restaurant's, bakeries, supermarkets, ski and bike hire shops and bars.

Despite this it is set in its own gardens, it has private above ground and secure underground parking and enjoys excellent views of both sides of the Chamonix valley.

The Aiguille De Midi (which accesses the Vallée Blanche) and Brevant lifts are approx 5-10 minutes walk away. We are also two minutes walk from the free ski bus which goes to all the valleys ski areas and also three minutes walk from the new Chamonix Aiguille De Midi mountain railway halt which runs from La Fayet (with connection to Geneve) to Martigny and Verbier in Switzerland.

Chalet Apartment Chamonix Cœur Des Alpes is arranged over three floors.
Ground Floor: A private door leads from the garden into a hallway, off the hallway is a locker, toilet, and Bedrooms One and Two.
Bedroom One has a double or two single beds and an en-suite shower room plus patio doors leading to South facing balcony.
Bedroom Two has a double bed or two single beds and also faces South receiving the morning sun.
Lower Ground Floor has a walk through open plan Bedroom Three with wardrobe and a double or two single beds. This bedroom leads to Bedroom Four with a double bed or two single beds and an extra single bed and to the bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
The Upper level is an open plan kitchen/dining room/living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living area has corner sofas and flat screen wall mounted TV with good selection of dvds.
There is highspeed 20M broadband wifi.

Chalet Apartment Chamonix Coeur Des Alpes has a private parking area above ground, plus a secure underground garage storage room and ski locker which are ideal for storage of bikes, skis, pram, golf clubs etc. There is also a drying room.

It is surrounded by gardens and has three balconies accessed by patio doors.

Balcony One leads off a bedroom and gives a view stretching from Les Grands Montets to the Bossons Glacier.

Balcony Two leads off the living room and shares the same view.
Both of the above balconies are in the sun until mid afternoon.

Balcony Three gives a view of the Brevant mountain and cable cars and benefits from the afternoon sun and sunset.

Chalet Apartment Chamonix Coeur Des Alpes is strictly non-smoking, although smokers are very welcome to use the garden and three balconies all with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

A local Taxe De Sejour is payable which this year is 90 cents per adult per night. (This also gives you benefits including free in resort travel on the railway and buses and various discounts, for example entry to the swimming pool, leisure centre and certain museums).

We take a 30% deposit to reserve the booking and the balance 6 weeks before departure.
We take take payment in UK£, euros or with credit cards via paypal.

The town centre has a pleasant mixture of old and new buildings with pedestrianised streets offering a wide variety of shopping possibilities and dining opportunities.
There is scope for countless activites outside the ski season, from trail running, walking, horse riding, flying and mountain biking to golf. There is also an indoor bowling alley and mini golf plus a summer activity park with rope adventures and a new downhill Alpine Coaster plus a stunning outdoor and indoor pool complex.

Chamonix is 60km or an easy and scenic 60minutes drive from Geneva Airport on motorways and dual carriageways to within 2km of the centre of Chamonix. Geneva airport is served by most of the major airlines plus budget airlines such as EasyJet, Jet2, Air Lingus, BMI.....

We can provide private transfers from the airport to the chalet or alternatively car hire is available at the airport.

Chamonix is around eight to nine hours drive from Calais by motorway all the way.

Alternatively Turin, Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble airports are within 2-3 hours drive of Chamonix by motorway.

This is a very belated thank you for all your wonderful help and assistance during our visit to Chalet Chamonix Coeur Des Alpes in Chamonix in April.
We loved the chalet and found it extremely well-situated, ideal for our group of 2 families, very handy for daily excursions whether shopping, skiiing or other adventures.
We really appreciated all the extra effort and care you put in to make our visit a success - organising the transfers, assisting us with ski hire, ski instructors, local information, etc.

We are getting ready for bed on our last night. We have had a great time in the chalet and in Chamonix and in France, and I want to thank you, at least for the chalet part, although you may take credit for the other parts, too, if you wish. We will return keys and clean in the morning. I think everything should be in good order. We will take the last of the trash out and the recycling again to the bins near the bowling alley.
Other than that, we had delightful skiing at Le Tour and Les Grands Montets. If there is a next time for us, we want to try Les Houches and return to Les Grands Montets. We all had fun skiing, and we truly enjoyed Chamonix We were especially thrilled with the location. We walked to dinner every night, and it was a pleasure to leave the car. And the apartment was very accommodating.

Another successful ski weekend negotiated. Excellent snow and reasonable weather. No broken bones and the only injury is to the liver. The nightlife seems to be picking up again in Chamonix. Anyway thank you for letting us use your chalet. We may be giving you a call next year. Cheers Pete

Sorry for the late correspondence but I thought I would contact you to say what a fantastic holiday we all had. Chamonix is a fantastic place and you own a lovely chalet in which must be one of the best locations in town. The town square was both fantastic and crazy at the same time on new years eve. Just thought I'd drop you a quick mail to say how much we all enjoyed ourselves in Chamonix. The place was everything and more than we'd expected...the scenery of Chamonix and The Alps (as well as the view from our bedroom) was spectacular....I think my family are glad to be home for a rest now, after such an exhausting, but wonderful, time....summer sledging, mountain biking, Aguille de Midi'ing, Mer de Glace exploring, white water rafting, Forest Adventuring in Les Houches (heights have never been my strong point, and the kids have been teasing me ever since I bottled Part 4 of the course!!) as well as swimming and ice skating..........we even
managed to visit Annecy, hire a boat and swim in the lake, which was well worth the effort, just as you'd advised. The apartment was great, and your guide to everything going on was invaluable. Thank you for allowing us to stay a few extra hours on Saturday....it made a big difference, as our flight wasn't until 21:30. Anyway, hope you have a great summer/winter, and if we ever fancy taking up skiing,
