Our pretty self catered chalet is divided into 3 apartments or can be used as one chalet for larger groups. Apartment Three sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms and family bathroom.The apartment has a spacious, open plan feel to it with high ceilings and mountain views from all the bedrooms and living area. There is Wifi throughout.

Located on the second floor of this lovely free standing chalet this recently renovated and newly furnished 60 sq metre apartment with two bedrooms is perfect for families and friends in winter or summer.
Apartment 3 is located less than 5 minutes walk from Chamonix’s main square and only 10 minutes walk from the Brevent cable car. The apartment has a spacious, open plan feel to it with high ceilings, exposed beams and mountain views from all the bedrooms and living area. There is Wifi throughout.
Although this two bedroom apartment sleeps four people it is one of three privately owned holiday rental apartments in the same building and is therefore also ideal for larger groups of up to 16 people who wish to book all three apartments.
The apartment is comfortably furnished with wooden floors throughout and a contemporary style.
The lounge/dining area is open plan and extremely spacious for 4 people with double windows creating lots of light and giving great views of Mont Blanc. The apartment has been recently renovated and retained many of the original features in the living area giving a definite chalet feel to a contemporary style room. There is an L shaped settee with coffee table, dining table and ample seating for four people plus tv and Wifi.
The kitchen is also open plan with plenty of work space, oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster and ample cooking/dining ware for four people.
Both bedrooms have great views of the Brevent ski lift and mountain range.
Bedroom 1 is a twin bedded room with wardrobe, bedside tables and drawers.
Bedroom 2 also has twin beds, wardrobe, bedside table and drawers.
The bathroom is spacious with modern bathroom furnishings including a large bath and shower, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.
The apartment has it’s own lockable ski room in the basement.

Although there is no private parking with the apartment there are three municipal car parks within five minutes walk.

Winter in Chamonix
Chamonix is one of the best ski resorts in the world. With 5 ski resorts in the Chamonix Valley, there is something for skiers of all levels:
Les Houches & Le Tour - beginners/intermediate
La Flegere & Le Brevent - intermediate/advanced
Grands Montets - advanced
More advanced skiers/boarders wanting to experience a 20km run through the most beautiful scenery in The Alps should ski the Vallee Blanche - not least because the ascent is by cable car to Aiguille Du Midi, the highest cable car in Europe.

Summer
Chamonix is a mecca for climbers in Winter & Summer alike with the summit of Mont Blanc being the ultimate challenge. However there are numerous rock climbing activities going on throughout the valley.
Mountain biking in the Chamonix valley is superb. With all the cable cars, the downhill is sublime. Renting a bike is easy in the area and there's a free pamphlet of all bike trails available from the Tourist Office.
Paragliding and white water rafting are both also on your doorstep should you want to give them a try.

Apres Piste
...quite simply is the best in The Alps! There are loads of bars, cafes & nightclubs. Our fav bar is Chambre Neuf check out the website www.chambre9.eu
The Chamonix area
Due to the location of the apartment, everything you should need is on your doorstep including bars, restaurants, pharmacies, boulangeries, supermarkets, ski & Bike hire shops etc. The Brevent ski lift is a 10 min walk. The bus stop for all other pistes is a 2 min walk away.
It's a 5 minute walk to the The Centre Sportif Richard Bozon in Chamonix which has a swimming pool complex with four different pools: one 50m outdoor pool (usually summer only), a 25m indoor pool, a kids playing pool and a paddling pool. The complex also has a hydroslide for all ages! Our kids love this place...
No trip to Chamonix would be complete without a trip on the Montenvers miniature railway up to the Mer de Glace, France's largest glacier.

By Air: Geneva Airport is one hours drive from Chamonix. The quickest way to get to us is by airport transfer. We recommend a minibus service called Chamonix Shuttles. They will meet you from your flight and take you directly to your apartment from around 50 Euros per person.
Car Hire: There are various car hire companies located at Geneva Airport including Easycar, Europcar & Avis.
By Train: Chamonix Mont Blanc Railway Station is serviced by French railway SNCF as well as Swiss railway SBB. However this is not a direct route and can take over 2 hours.

Located in Central Cham, perfect for all that Cham has to offer: sights, sounds and transport, and the snow was awesome!!! Good sized apts, well equipped and relax atmosphere, I will come again. |
