It has a large living area of 30m² with sliding doors opening onto a south-facing balcony facing the Mont Blanc range and the nearest ski slopes at Les Houches. The garden has a large lawn, a play area for children with swings and trampoline and a thriving organic ornamental vegetable garden. The open living area has two sofas and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with sprung mattresses, down pillows, electric blankets and good quality white bed linen and towels. An extra fold-up bed is available for a child. Bathrooms have electric towel rails and hair dryers. Flat-screen satellite TV, CD/DVD/radio, Wifi Internet access. Heated ski boot dryer. Parking for 2 cars.

The bedrooms have large comfortable beds with sprung mattresses and electric blankets in winter. Room sizes: Double bedroom: 3.8mx3.75m; twin room 1: 4mx4m; twin room 2: 3.15mx2.9m. One bathroom en suite, one family bathroom, each have a bath tub with hand-held shower, hand basin, wc and heated towel rail. There is a third wc with handbasin. Cleaning materials and soap provided, loo paper provided for arrival.
Washing machine and dryer available in the chalet by arrangement.
Mobile phones recommended, use of our private telephone and fax in emergency.

The large garden has lawns and flowerbeds with table and chairs for outside dining, plus deck chairs. Parking in grounds for two cars.

The chalet is set in its own garden, full of flowers, fruit and vegetables as well as an orchard, with a south-facing terrace looking towards Mont Blanc, ideal for summer relaxation and guests are welcome to enjoy it.
Starter grocery pack provided on request at cost.
Final cleaning: included as long as the apartment is left reasonably clean and tidy. Should you do not wish to do any cleaning, a charge of up to €100 will be made and taken from the inventory deposit.
Well-behaved pets are welcome in summer by prior agreement.
We ask smokers to smoke outside the apartment.
Conditions
30% non-refundable deposit to secure reservation. Balance of rental amount 2 months prior to reservation date. Inventory deposit €300 on arrival.

The Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps and the Chamonix Valley is a legend in itself - one of the homes of mountaineering- the high mountains and glaciers are truly spectacular. The valley is a draw for mountain lovers of every age. You can take part in many different sports and activities, including adventure parks for children, or relax on the terrace of a restaurant with a glass of wine, enjoying the fabulous views of the glaciers.
The Chamonix / Servoz area
The historic centre of Chamonix is car-free allowing you to wander at will. There's always something going on - large Saturday market, lots of restaurants, the High Mountain Guides' Festival in mid August is a long-standing tradition, a variety of shops, summer music ,sports events, dramatic firework displays for special occasions. The beautifully located 18-hole Chamonix golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The annual festival in Servoz in mid-October combines the celebration of sheep and cattle returning from the high mountain pastures with glorious autumn colours and the locals in traditional costume out in force - our favourite day of the year!

We had a great time here. Hiking at Lognan was spectacular. We were very glad to visit market in Megeve. Kitchen was equipped well and we enjoyed cooking using local fresh ingredients. Kids seem to be having so much fun to be in the lovely garden. They were very excited to see vegetables and snails! – and of course they’ll miss the swings! A very warm and friendly welcome. This chalet is very comfortable and has everything you need (including electric blankets on all the beds!). The owners could not have done any more for us, they were extremely helpful.
We look forward to returning to this chalet soon.

We had a fantastic summer holiday here in 2008. We're going back in 2009.
The apartment is well equipped and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well specified for a self-catering apartment.
The area is very quiet, the chalet is on a winding road on the way out of Servoz. The road itself climbs and eventually, a couple of miles beyond the chalet, ends in a car park high on the valley side which is a good place to walk from. The views down the valley towards Mont Blanc are superb. The garden is very well cared-for and the children enjoyed playing there. Jacob especially enjoyed foraging for wild strawberries! There are a couple of steep areas so younger children would need supervision.
Servoz is a small town with a well stocked local shop (fresh bread) which is a couple of mins away by car. The supermarkets are 10-15 mins away in Les Houches.
There is good mountain walking from the apartment itself to local hamlets and Lac Vert and beyond. Short car journeys will get you to the base of the popular cable-cars.
Elizabeth is extremely helpful and as a local walking guide is able to offer detailed information about the area. She made us all feel very welcome.
The children had a fantastic time. They were 2, 4 and 7 when we went. They're really looking forward to going back this summer. Check picasa for our photos, search for Servoz. Thanks again,

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in this spacious and comfortable apartment. The 2 English lady owners are extremely hospitable and helpful, and their depth of local knowledge was invaluable as they helped us plan walking, driving and shopping trips.
The views from the living rooms and balcony are simply stunning, and the pink sunset on Mont Blanc an enduring memory!
This is a great place - I'd have no hesitation in recommending it for a base for exploring and enjoying the Chamonix region!

Just like to say thanks to Susan and Lizzy for their hospitality and helping to make our holiday one never to forget, the accommodation and location of the property was spectacular, the views from the balcony were breathtaking don't think you could get any better than this.
Will definitely try to return to this property again, hopefully in the snow.

Fantastic place to stay

We spent a great 7 days staying at this chalet in March 2008 skiing in Chamonix.
Really good sized chalet which was great as we had 4 adults plus 18 month old daughter. The kitchen and living areas make for a really good and homely space, surrounded by lovely views of the mountains. The chalet is perched on a hill and its best if you have a car to get to and from places unless you are fit enough for walking up and down the hill!
Our hosts were incredibly helpful and nice and we cannot recommend this chalet highly enough. The village of Servoz is only a 15 minute drive away from Cham central or get a free train (with a guest pass) from the nearby station. Les Houches is very close by and has a few decent runs for skiing so you have a few options there to choose from.
Chamonix has lots of good bars and restaurants. We also went to the local Savoyard restaurant in Servoz which was really good.
The chalet is beautifully done up and very well stocked. It has plenty of space for 6 adults and you'll feel very comfortable. It was a real pleasure staying there.
