Ski Chamonix Valley is a very high quality 2 bedroom, first floor apartment which sleeps up to 6. It is situated at the foot of the main ski-lift in Les Houches, in a new development by the well renowned French developer MGM and it benefits from two underground parking spaces and a ski-locker.
The apartment is furnished to a very high standard in a traditional Alpine-style. The living area has a pull-out double sofa-bed and has a Sony LCD flat-screen TV with UK Freeview and DVD player. There is an iPod dock speaker-system compatible with all generations of iPod to enable you to enjoy your own music and WiFi internet access for your laptop. Sliding windows open onto a beautiful wood-decked balcony providing views over the main ski area of Les Houches.
The main bedroom has a sumptuous double bed and a built-in wardrobe whilst the second bedroom has bunk-beds.
The kitchen area is well equipped and includes a fridge-freezer, dish-washer, oven with hob and a six-place dining table.
The bathroom includes a Grohe shower over the bath and enjoys the benefit of a built-in washing-machine with tumble-drier. There is also a large heated towel rail.
There is a separate WC and a closet in which to hang up jackets and store shoes.

Chamonix / Les Houches area
The town of Chamonix Mont Blanc is 1042m (3,396 ft) above sea level at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe at 4807m (15,770 ft).
Chamonix is at the heart of the French Alps, adjacent to Mont Dolent where the French, Swiss and Italian borders meet.
It has become the World’s centre of gravity for outdoor extreme activities including ski-touring, mountaineering, climbing, hiking, biking and paragliding and is only minutes from Les Houches by the ski bus which stops immediately outside the 'Le Kandahar' apartment block.
How to get there
Less than an hour by car from Geneva, Les Houches is easily accessible by road, rail and air.
Road: The road from Geneva Airport is fast and simple. The A40 and subsequently the N205 delivers you to Les Houches within an hour. Les Houches is equally accessible from Italy via the Mont Blanc Tunnel.
Rail: Travel to Les Houches station, with one change at St Gervais (from France), or at Martigny (from Switzerland). There are about 10 trains per day between St Gervais and Les Houches: details are available from www.sncf.co.uk. Taxis are available from the station (tel. +33 450 54 41 76 or +33 450 54 41 09).
Air: A number of low-cost airlines operate regular services into Geneva from regional and hub airports throughout the UK.

The apartment is available for rental year-round - please contact the owners for details of spring and summer rental tarrifs. Rates are based on a 1 week stay arriving on Saturday afternoon and departing the following Saturday morning. There is some limited scope for flexibility on arrival and departure days but not at peak season. Depending on availability, short stays are possible; contact the owners for details. Rates do not include cleaning of the apartment at the end of your stay or bedlinen, which would incur a small additional fee. Use of the washer/dryer incurs a small extra charge.
