Sleeps 4 - in the centre of Chamonix itself, right at the foot of the Brévent ski area. Situated in the sought after Clos du Savoy residences, this ground floor studio is situated 100metres from the foot of the lifts to the marvellous Brévent and La Flégère ski areas. Savoy piste right behind. It is only 3 minutes level walk to the main square of central Chamonix with its array of restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and general, bustling activity. For those who have the energy to spare after a day on the mountain, there is no shortage of lively nightlife.
Chamonix lies close to both the Swiss and Italian borders, right at the foot of Mont Blanc.There are frequent coach links from Geneva airport and from Lyon/St.Etienne and Chambery (slightly longer but often has even cheaper flights) Trains run into Chamonix itself (10 minutes walk from the studio). By car, there is autoroute, all the way from the Channel, to within 15 kms of Chamonix.

Skiing Information :-The Chamonix Mont Blanc area is a skier`s paradise. The season is normally long and there are runs to cover all abilities from easy green to the most extreme off piste challenges as well as cross- country trails. The ski school [children and adults] and beginners` Savoy piste are at the `back door` of our apartment. Spring, Summer and Autumn Activities:-- Chamonix is by no means just about winter sports. The whole area in and around Chamonix is packed with interest and activities - the `great outdoors` doesn`t get much better than this!! Mountaineering, walking [easy and difficult], paragliding, mountain biking [bike hire available in Chamonix], indoor climbing wall, swimming, wildlife parks, golf, tennis and much more.
