About the home
Chamonix is one of the world’s most famous winter resorts, offering something for everyone, even those who don’t like getting cold and wet! Whether you want to chill out or be active, Chamonix has it all!
We believe that Chamonix should be accessible at every budget, therefore our aim is to provide high quality, clean, stylish and well maintained accommodation, at very affordable prices. We don’t believe that budget should mean bad, so Chamois Blanc 7, as with all SnoStation apartments, is kitted out with modern interiors – cool and cosy at the same time! If you want a night in there is a TV with DVD player, and French satellite tv. The kitchenette is well equipped should you wish to cook in, and best of all being a top floor apartment there is a beautiful view of the famous Chamonix peaks.
It is less than 5 min walk from the centre, and only minutes walk from bars, restaurants, clubs, shops and ski transport, so all the activities without any of the hassle.
The size and layout of the apartment means that it is really best suited to a small family or group of friends, 2 singles and a couple.

Chamonix is not a ski to door town, the town is much larger than normal ski resorts, and is separate to the ski areas. Most people stay in the town to take advantage of the many shops, bars and restaurants there, and use the ski bus service (free with your pass), or car to access the ski areas. The closest area is Le Brevent at 5 min on the bus (this is linked to Flegere), the next is Les Grands Montets at 10-15 min on the bus, and then La Tour which is 20 min away on the bus.

Friendly English speaking representative on hand in resort for any problems or questions.
We take the hassle out of your holiday at no extra cost with our complimentary concierge service! We can:- organise your Geneva airport transfers, have lift passes ready for you on arrival, book your lessons, put food and drink in your apartment, and book and recommend restaurants. We do not charge for doing any of this, so prices are exactly the same as if you were to purchase yourself in resort. It just makes organising your holiday a bit easier, and less precious holiday time spent waiting in queues!
The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The Haute-Savoie area of France is one of the most famous ski and mountain sport areas in the world, not to mention hosting the peak of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. The weather can be very cold but stable in winter, with snow on the ground and can get very warm and sunny in summer, albeit slightly more turbulent, as rain and thunder storms are quite common.
The Haute Savoie area is the centre point for a number of different activities. There are many famous ski, biking, mountain and water sports areas within this region and it also has some very famous neighbouring towns. To the north, Haute-Savoie borders Switzerland and Lake Geneva, with Geneva as the closest major city. To the east, Haute-Savoie borders Italy, so it’s a great launch point if you want to get a flavour of 3 different countries in a short space of time.
Lake Annecy is another major attraction in Haute-Savoie, as is the town of Évian-les-Bains, the most famous town on the French shore of Lake Geneva, and well-known around the world for its Evian mineral water.
So whether sightseeing, skiing, mountaineering, sporting, shopping or eating out, there are plenty to see and do in the Haute Savoie region.
The Chamonix / Chamonix Town Centre area
This beautiful town has been a premier winter resort since the late 1800’s and is filled to the brim with historic French buildings and monuments. The river Arve runs right through the heart direct from the glaciers; and it is hard to find a part of town where you can’t see spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks.
Chamonix is one of the world’s most famous winter and summer mountain sports resorts, offering something for everyone, even those who don’t like getting cold and wet or break a sweat! Whether you want to chill out or be active, Chamonix has it all!
Chamonix town is bigger than normal ski resorts, meaning you have a huge choice of cool bars and nightclubs, a massive selection of restaurants for all budgets and tastes, not to mention the casino, shopping, museums, exhibitions, farmers market, ice caves, the snow train, a cinema, skating rink, bowling, ice-hockey nights…. The list is never ending!
Chamonix has a beautiful town centre with centuries old buildings, cobbled streets and a great atmosphere no matter what time of year you visit.
Snow Activities
5 different ski areas offer lots of choice for all levels of ability, whether beginner, intermediate or expert. There are also numerous cross country trails, and if you are up for a challenge there is world famous off piste, and the Vallee Blanche which, at 24km, is longest glacier run in the World! With all the areas at a high altitude, snow reliability is good and the season usually lasts from Dec to May, so there should be none of those pre-holiday snow worries!
Summer activities
Chamonix is a great place to visit in the summer months, with lots going on and plenty to do. Hiking, Mountain Biking, Mountaineering, Rock/Ice Climbing, Paragliding, White Water Rafting to name but a few activities, and the weather though unpredictable at times is usually warm and sunny. Its a great place to bring children as there are lots of play areas such as Paradis de Praz, The Wildlife Park, and the Parc de Loisirs with tree top adventure park and summer luge.
