Le Bouquetin, Maison de L'Argoat 2 - (6 People)
Ideally located 300 metres from the Brevent cabine and a few minutes walk to the Aguille de Midi and the centre of Chamonix the apartments are perfectly situated to explore all of Chamonix's winter and summer attractions.
Le Bouquetin is on the first floor of the chalet and provides a very spacious 65m2 of living accommodation, with absolutely stunning views from the lounge and French doors opening onto a balcony looking up to Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi.
Decorated to a very high standard the apartment has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with large fitted wardrobes, so there's plenty of space for clothing. The double bedroom has an ensuite shower room and the twin bedroom can also be transformed into a bunk room. There is also a second separate bathroom as well.
The living/dining/kitchen area is spacious and open planned. There is a fully fitted Italian kitchen with all the modern appliances you would want including washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine.
The dining area is for eight people and the lounge area comprises two stylish comfortable sofas, coffee table and occational sideboards.
Additional equipment has also been provided for your convenience, FREE WIFI, flat screen TV, DVD, CD.

There are stunning views from Maison de L'argoat across the Chamonix valley to the Mont Blanc massif, the Aiguille du Midi and the mountain ranges. As they are higher than the town centre and south facing they enjoy sunlight from early in the morning until late in the evening

Terms and Conditions
Payment and Cancellation: Upon reservation, the renter must pay a deposit of 25% of the accommodation price by an Acceptable Method of Payment. This deposit ensures the reservation of the accommodation for the requested stay, until final payment is received. In the event of cancellation the deposit will not be refunded. Where reservations are made within 6 weeks of the commencement of arrival, full payment will be required to confirm the reservation.
The remaining balance of the total holiday price is due and payable by 6 weeks prior to the date of arrival. The price is inclusive of bedding and towels, as well as the local tax (taxe de sejour).
The proprietor requires written/email cancellation of any bookings from the renter. The cancellation policy is as follows:
42 – 21 days = Loss of 75% of total holiday price
21 – 00 days = Loss of 100% of total holiday price
Damage charges: In the event that the proprietor deems the renter responsible for any material damage or loss to the apartment, the building or common parts during the Groups stay, any cost to rectify damage caused will be charged to the credit card details supplied. An extra charge will also be made where we consider the property is left in an excessively dirty state.
Cleaning charge: Cleaning is provided for each apartment inclusive in the cost of the holiday and includes, cleaning bathrooms, toilet, kitchen spaces, windows, and floors. It does not include removing opened food / beverages / rubbish from the apartment, or washing dirty crockery, cutlery, glassware, pans and cooking appliances or oven trays. Please remove all rubbish, opened and out of date foods and beverages before checking out of the apartment, and ensure that all crockery, cutlery, glassware, pans/ cooking appliances and oven trays are thoroughly cleaned, dried and put back in their place. An extra charge of 60 € will be made to the credit card number taken if this is not done.
Termination: The proprietor reserves the right to terminate without notice and liability the holiday of any Group Member whose behaviour is such that it is disruptive to the enjoyment of others or cause damage to the property or any third party. This is entirely at the discretion of the proprietor.
Other: The proprietors of the property, do not accept any responsibility for any damage or injury, (including theft or loss of personal goods occurring on the property) during your stay or whilst you use any of the equipment at your disposal in the apartment. Renters are expected to respect the rights of neighbouring properties. We recommend that you take out your own comprehensive travel and medical insurance whilst on holiday.
This agreement and any proceedings there under are to be governed by the laws of France and any legal issues to be determined by the courts of France local to the property.
Payment for the reservation of the apartment indicates that you accept the terms and conditions of this contract.
The Rhône-Alpes region
Chamonix is in the Haute Savoie region of France facing the Mont Blanc chain and has some of the best on and off-piste skiing in Europe. Only one hour from Geneva International airport, with shuttles from Geneva airport, a train station and an efficient bus system Chamonix is a holiday destination where you don't need a car. The property does have parking for 3 cars.
The Mont Blanc massif dominates the town and, winter or summer, you have the privilege of enjoying the most beautiful scenery in Europe. Many people think that Chamonix has the most spectacular scenery that skiers will see anywhere in the world.
Chamonix Town Centre
Chamonix isn't just a ski resort or an outdoor activity centre; it is a thriving town in its own right; with 12,000 permanent residents which welcomes visitors all year round. Although Chamonix is famed as the extreme sports capital of the world you don't have to be a world class skier or climber to enjoy it. The non-skier is well catered for also with golf, mountain-biking, husky drives, skating, para-gliding and loads of other activities There are also wonderful walks with spectacular scenery. Italy is just 30 minutes away through the Mont Blanc Tunnel.
Chamonix is one of the liveliest après-ski resorts in the Alps. It is packed with bars and restaurants of every sort and even has its own micro-brewery. From a quick pizza to a gourmet meal at Michelin starred restaurants, there's something for every taste. Live music starts around 4pm in several venues most days in the winter, and only a little less frequently in the summer. Even the most dedicated partier will struggle to get round the 14 bars, 80 restaurants, 100 shops and 7 discotheques in a week.
There is a museum and art gallery, a cinema and a casino. In addition there is a large sports complex with a sports hall, indoor and outdoor ice rink, speed skating rink, 19 tennis courts (quick and clay) including 4 indoor courts, squash courts, swimming-pool complex with water-slide & fitness centre (saunas, Turkish baths, solarium).
Chamonix is the only alpine town able to offer such a wide selection of entertainment.
During the winter, Chamonix is undoubtedly one of the World's top five ski resorts and includes four ski areas, Les Grands Montets, Le Brévent, La Flégère and La Domaine de Balme, there are 50 lifts serving 168km of piste. Chamonix also has the largest and most widely available amount of off piste skiing in Europe, including the most famous perhaps being the Vallée Blanche, one of the greatest experiences of a lifetime for an intermediate or above skier.
The Chamonix ski areas are easily accessible using the bus network and offer a vast range of beginner and intermediate skiing, as well as limitless off-piste skiing for the expert. If you don't want to take the bus, we will take you to the slopes in the morning and collect you in the afternoon.
In addition there are about a dozen resorts within an hour's drive, which means that you can always go where the snow and or weather is best. These resorts include St Gervais, les Contamines, les Houches, Mégève and Flaine in France; Courmayeur and La Thuile in Italy and Verbier in Switzerland.
Whilst in summer, there are more visitors to Chamonix in the summer than the winter; drawn by the beauty of the mountains and the wide range of activities available.
Of course, it's a Mecca for climbers but there are also many marked paths for long or short walks along the high routes through the mountains.
