Offering well equipped family accommodation within easy reach of the popular coastal resorts of St Jean de Monts & St Gilles Croix de Vie.
All the comforts of home, including a large screen HD TV with most English channels, DVD player and free Wi-Fi Internet access. Convivial open-plan living area with fitted kitchen and dining table, a further dining area and a comfortable lounge area.
The full configuration of 5 bedrooms includes two ground floor bedrooms and bathroom suitable for reduced mobility guests (please enquire to confirm the suitability for your needs).
Sole use of the heated pool - fenced for peace of mind with young children.
A range of baby equipment is provided (cots, high chairs, baby bath, stair gate, etc.) and bed linen and towels are included in the rental.
Ideally located with basic shops just a few minutes walk away in the village. A 10 minute drive from the nearby town of Challans, for a weekly market, supermarkets, shopping centre, and a choice of restaurants.
Within easy reach of sandy beaches at St Jean de Monts (12 miles) and St Gilles Croix de Vie (13 miles). There is a lake with beach and leisure facilities (canoes, pedalos, children’s play area) at just 8 miles. Two good golf courses within a half hour drive. Several well rated surfing spots along the nearby coast.

The Vendee is an ideal family holiday destination, being very easy to get to (just 3 hours from St Malo), yet far enough south to enjoy a great climate. You will find a wide choice of attractions to visit and holiday activities for the children, including various theme parks.
There are many chateaux with history pageants and festivities, beautiful botanical gardens, and of course the fabulous coastline with its sandy beaches and excellent water sports facilities. A trip to the history theme park “Le Puy du Fou” is an unforgettable day out for all the family – not to be missed. Further south, there is also the famous “Green Venice” area, for a relaxing punt trip through the canals and waterways. The more adventurous will find plenty to keep them busy; go-karts, micro-lights, quad excursions, hot-air ballooning, tree adventure parks, paint-ball…
