Lovely well-presented

farmhouse in wonderful rural position within Exmoor National Park with stunning

views in all directions. If you are

looking for that special place to get away with family and friends this would

be ideal, not only are there wonderful walks to explore and long sandy beaches

within 25 minutes but the house itself has a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a

year round hot tub. Imagine sitting

under the stars in the depths of winter enjoying a soak!

The house

has been completely refurbished to offer a truly enjoyable stay for all ages

with lots of space inside including a large open plan kitchen, ideal for a get

together and lots of seating in two areas, both with a cosy wood burner to enjoy.

The owners

have thought of everything to ensure you have a really special break; one of

the living areas is equipped with a full size American pool table and for the

energetic there are two mountain bikes, and 2 boogie boards to use during your

stay. Being in the heart of a working

farm and within the National Park makes this a truly special experience with so

much to see and do right on your doorstep.

The farm

are proud to produce all their own electricity with a small wind turbine and

all their heating is with a wood chip heating system, so you can enjoy a 100%

carbon neutral stay.

plan living area: Inglenook fireplace with wood burner (free logs are

provided), kitchen and dining area. 4x large sofas, 2x easy chairs split into two areas with one for watching TV (satellite and

Wi-Fi included) an area by the fireplace. Dining table seats 10

comfortably, another table can be added for extras.

Fully equipped

luxury country style kitchen includes: AGA with 4 ovens, dishwasher, and

island bar area with 4 stools, coffee maker, large fridge freezer, microwave, a

kettle and toaster.


Room: freezer and washing machine, downstairs toilet, boot room in

the entrance hall.

The Devon region


Farm is a working organic farm, home to a pedigree herd of Ruby Red beef cattle

and Exmoor sheep within the Exmoor National Park with wonderful countryside in

its 267 square miles. It offers unique landscape of moorland, woodland, valleys

and farmland, shaped by people and nature over thousands of years. High cliffs

plunge into the Bristol Channel, and cosy pubs and tearooms offer delicious

local produce.

The farm is

near Brayford which is one of those picturesque traditional Devon villages that

you may only discover by chance with the River Bray running through the centre;

it is an ideal location from which to explore all this wonderful area has to

offer. The small Market town of South

Molton is only 8 miles away and there is much to do in and around the town for

visitors of all ages. There is a honey farm where you can watch the bees

working behind glass, a chocolate factory where you can indulge yourself and an

award-winning museum. Nearby towns include Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Lynton and

Combe Martin which offers many sightseeing secrets for you to discover.

If a bucket and spade holiday is more what

you're looking for, the great surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton

Sands are a 25 minutes’ drive. Another great attraction a short distance away

is in Watermouth where you can enjoy a Victorian Castle full of eclectic

treasures, nostalgic displays and curios, a theme park including rides and play

areas, and beautiful landscaped gardens. In this stunning location overlooking the picturesque

Watermouth Cove, Watermouth Castle offers a unique and magical experience with

entertainment for all ages.

Only 15

minutes away is Exmoor Zoo, a special place that enables you to get up close

and personal! Opened in 1982 the zoo is

now an ideal family venue, especially for the kids. The zoo is always changing so no repeat visit

is ever the same. The RHS Gardens at Wisley and Rosemoor are worth a visit as

they are described by many as some of the best examples in the country.

If you fancy something to eat and drink within

a short driving distance of 4 miles are the pubs of The Poltimore Arms in

Brayford and The Black Venus Inn of Challacombe that offers locally sourced

food and scenic circular walks where anyone or any dog is welcome!


wild and interesting, England's Southwest counties of Somerset, Devon &

Cornwall host the oldest and some of the most enigmatic golf courses in the UK.

Saunton Sands has excellent golf with two courses including a championship

course. Royal North Devon Gold Club at Westward Ho! can rightly claim to be the

cradle of English Golf. Founded in 1864, it is the oldest golf course in the

country and is regarded as the St Andrews of England. Adding to this Chulmleigh

Golf Course is a 38 minute drive from the cottage and is ideal for families and

anyone who wants to try the game, yet it remains a challenge for the

experienced golfer.

You will

also find excellent Devon scenery with some fabulous countryside with lots of

walks and a growing cycle network to take you across Exmoor and North Devon. It

is to no surprise that many fall in love with the idyllic and heart-stopping
