House | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 5
La Paisible is a delightful, fully renovated two bedroom house on the edge of this lovely village in South West France. With full central heating and a large woodburning stove it's cosy and comfortable - ideal for holidays or short breaks through the Autumn, Winter and Spring months. Retaining many original features it also has the advantages of a new kitchen, shower room and freesat tv.
In the summer months you can cool down at the nearby open air swimming pool or at one of the local beach lakes, and in the village the Vienne river offers fishing and kayaking. The area is ideal for outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and bird watching; there are local chateaux and historical sites to visit; and if all that is too much there is a variety of local cafes and restaurants for coffee, lunch and dinner. An easy five minute walk takes you over the river and into the village for daily bread and groceries or to test out the bar restaurant.
