The Dorset region
Crowthorne cottage is situated in its own private grounds on the edge of our family run farm, in the centre of Dorset. It has views of the surrounding fields and countryside, with the Wessex ridgeway and Hardy Trail close by. Ideal for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts or just a great base for visiting National Trust properties or the Jurassic coast.
Crowthorne cottage is situated off Bookham Lane, half way between Alton Pancras and Bucklan Newton. Sherborne and Dorchester are equal distances from Bookham, enabling you to travel North or South easily. Buckland Newton has an excellent village shop, selling local produce and papers and the Gaggle of Geese public house is within walking distance and provides good quality, homemade pub food.

"Perfect peace and quiet in a wonderful location!"
This was our second trip to Crowthorne, Found it to be a fantastic home from home, everything you need is there and the location is great, just the sights and sounds of the countryside. Lucky enough to see the badgers on this trip!! Some great places to visit in the area with lots of village pubs to enjoy an evening out. Would definitely recommend it and would love to visit again in the future.
