Home description
On the ground floor the entrance hall leads to a second reception room, a capacious storage room, a large laundry room and toilet with stone staircase, an oak and black granite second kitchen and then onto
The newly fitted oak and black granite kitchen leading into the spacious, open, light sitting room via double doors that give the whole area an open plan feel. The garden is accessed from the kitchen via a split door from where you can see the children playing in the pool.
The garden has been recently paved in natural stone giving a light Mediterranean feel to the outside space whilst Bouganvillea and Campsis clamber up the traditional stone walls.
On the second floor there are four large double bedrooms, 2 with french doors overlooking the garden with views to the mountains (each 31 to 35 sqm.) The two secondary bedrooms are also good sized doubles (16sqm.). The bathroom has a separate large shower, a bath, a traditional basin and toilet. There is also a Dressing room/small office with built-in wardrobes.
On the third floor there is an open plan 64sqm. main bedroom with a bathroom and sitting room area. French windows lead to a 53sqm. terrace with 180 degree views to the Alberes and the Pic de Neolus. There is no street to the back of this imposing village house, privacy and tranquillity remain the dominant themes. This huge bedroom has been completely remodelled leaving the traditional Chesnut beams exposed, whilst state of the art insulation keeps the house warm. This studio room, which is easily large enough to be a separate apartment, even has its own Godin woodburner. The bathroom has a stand alone roll top bath from which you can see the mountains. The separate glass shower has massaging jets as well as a giant shower head.
