The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
This region is famous for its wine and climate. Lovely Vermillion coastline where many of the impressionist artists found their inspiration. Both marine and mountain views dominate this unspoilt region.
The vibrant beach resorts of Argeles sur Mer (where you will find Aqualand) and Canet Plage are towards the medieval city of Perpignan which is about 40 mins drive away from Cebere.
Cerbere area
Cerbere is a pretty French fishing village close to the Spanish border. It has a number of small restaurants and cafes ideal for a family holiday.
On the way to Cerbere follow the Wine Route alongside vines growing by the side of the spectacular coastal road. It has its own beach and harbour.
Only 6km away is the bigger town of Banjuls sur Mer. From Cerbere you can visit other gorgeous places like Collioure, Port Vendres famous for their locally produced wines.

Fly using Ryanair, Flybe, Air France, BMI, Easyjet plus Eurotunnel with rail links to Cerbere. Also easy to fly into Girona (Spain) which is about 1hr drive away.
