"Comfortable and very close to the centre of York."

Facilities mostly very good. Bed low to the ground!Central light out of action for a week or more.Washing machine puzzling.Proximity to supermarket an advantage.… More

Thank you for your feedback Harold. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your 3 week stay in York. We have had feedback from our overseas guests that European washing machines are more complex than those often found in the USA and Australia, hence my detailed instructions and accompanying printed photos in the house manual detailing how to use the washer dryer. I hope you found this useful to overcome any confusion on the workings of the machine.

You did call during the last week of your stay to say that one of the bulbs had blown in the living room and I do apologise that when I called to clean the apartment and provide you with fresh linens during the last week of your stay, I completely forgot to replace the bulb. I realised when preparing the apartment on the day of your departure and of course immediately replaced the bulb.

I hope that with the many additional lamps and spotlights within the living room, the one blown bulb didn't detract from your stay.

Once again thank you for choosing to stay with us
Kind regards

We really enjoyed Sarah's apartment, it was so handy for the city and Sarah was very welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. It really did feel like a home away from home and we were quite sad when we had to leave!
