|Further details indoors|
We have tried to make the cottage somewhere we would like to spend a holiday ourselves. The cottage is in a wonderful position and if you have a dog the Knavesmire, where horse race meeting are held throughout the year, is just over the road from the cottage down Cherry Lane. There is a large open space with woods and plenty of interesting walks. Parking for one car at the rear of the cottage. The price displayed for renting the cottage is fully inclusive of all charges with nothing extra to pay.
|Further details outdoors|
There is parking for one car at the cottage. To the rear of the cottage is a lovely walled garden with table and chairs.
The garden is secure and would be safe to leave your bicycle.
The cottage is let from Saturday to Saturday but short breaks are available for most of the year.
The Yorkshire region
Yorkshire is a historic County of Northern England and is the largest in the United Kingdom. Within the historic county of Yorkshire are areas which are thought to be among the most beautiful in England, due to the vast stretches of unspoiled countryside in the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. Yorkshire has sometimes been nicknamed Gods own country.
York is a walled city, situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ouse and Foss in North Yorkshire The city offers a wealth of historic attractions, of which York Minster is the most prominent, and a variety of cultural and sporting activities. York is a wonderful shopping centre with a very good selection of bars and restaurants. The York Designer Outlet is just outside the City Centre. There are riverside walks and river trips to enjoy and the Museum Gardens are a lovely place to sit and relax.

"Fantastic shopping visit to York"
Stayed at Knavesmire Cottage for a long weekend and had a wonderful time in York.
The cottage is a lovely place to return to after a hard days shopping. Our pampered pooch, Rufus, felt really at home. The cottage seems to have lots of history and atmosphere and was the ideal place to crash out.
