About the home

Tucked away in this 1892 edifice, with its classic façade, situated in the middle of one of the world's most famous Parisian streets, rue Lepic, is a charming 2 bedroom apartment that is sure to please.

Lepic Retreat was renovated early in 2009 specifically to meet the needs and demands of the most discerning traveler. We have truly tried to think of everything and more to make your stay here with us one that we hope you will not soon forget.

The style of this apartment is classic, à la Française, but with personal modern touches. The mix of colors chosen for the furnishing and the walls, come together to create a relaxing & elegant space. The light fixtures were hand picked from a boutique right on rue Lepic. The decorative touches such as the mirrors and artwork were also selected from a local vendor on rue Constance and their addition evokes a sense of refinement and class.

The Paris/Ile de France region

Coming to Paris again and again, the city never seems to lose it's charms. There is always so much to see and do and no stay seems quite long enough to take it all in. Visit the many sites from the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysee with the high-end restaurants and boutiques as well as the Arc de Triomphe or that the RER A out to Disney and enjoy a day out in the park with the family.

Stroll through the Tuileries Gardens as you head towards the Louvre or take the train out to Versailles.

The Central Paris / 18th / XVIIIe - Montmartre area

Enjoy the buzz of Montmartre and take a step into a relaxed Bohemian atmosphere. The area is home to the Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur and the last vineyard in Paris. Enjoy an espresso in one of the many bars or cafes or a nice glass of wine on one the terraces.

There is always something going on in Montmartre from weekly live jazz performances at local restaurants or the impromptu concert at Place des Abbesses near the Carousel.

You can arrive in Paris at any of the major airports, Orly, CDG or Beauvais (Beauvais is 1.5 hours outside of Paris and requires that you take a shuttle bus to Porte Maillot in Paris).

The trains from the North or Europe come into Gare du Nord (Eurostar, Thalys, TGV), and from the East into Gare de l'Est (TGV and trains from Germany). Coming up from the South of France you arrive most likely at Gare de Lyon.

Most of the train stations and the airports have car rental services if you wish to hire a car for getting out of Paris but you will not need a car while in Paris.

“What a Find! Live Like a Parisienne” Finding Lepic Retreat was a highlight of our holiday. We stayed for 3 nights with my brother and sister in law. We were greeted in the apartment by Yetunde. Everything was beautifully presented, including a basket of provisions including wine. It was a true French apartment - compact but brilliantly equipped. The kitchen was tiny, but you could have prepared a banquet with all the cooking utensils provided. An excellent Powerpoint presentation, that was also on the computer for future reference, gave us all the information that we needed to find our way around Montmartre by foot or to travel further afield by bus or train. There was also information about restaurants and sightseeing. Computer access was free on the computer provided as was use of a phone. Montmartre is a beautiful location, so much to see and do and so many places to eat. If we are lucky enough to visit Paris again we will certainly use the Feels Like Home in Paris team and definitely stay in Montmartre again.
