Home description

Luxury & style have not been forgotten in this first floor, one-bedroom apartment. Every detail has been thought of from the art on the wall, including images from Doisneau's famous black & white prints to images of Audrey Hepburn a great lover of Paris (and who wouldn't be).

When you first walk into the apartment you have a lovely well equipped kitchen off to your right. We have managed to fit in a washing machine, a dishwasher, and combination microwave oven. You will find all that you need in our cupboards to prepare delicious meals to entice and delight your friends and family. Why not schedule a cooking lesson with our chef Eric Fraudeau? Or visit the market in rue Lepic and pick up some great eats.

"Eblouisant" is the French word for dazzling - for me it means breathtaking and that is the first thing that came into my mind when I walked into the living room. Images of Paris and Montmartre adorn the walls to help you create the mood. You are in Paris in your Parisian home. And what is a Parisian home without its decorative fireplace? The living room also has a half-moon dining table which folds out to seat 4 people. We have put in a sofa bed that sleeps like a real bed. No more backaches from those terribly thin sofa bed mattresses - well at least not here. Relax after your long day of sightseeing and watch a DVD or tune into international news on the cable television. We have also installed highspeed internet access for your laptop computer so you are never too far.

Enter the bedroom where you find a comfortable double-sized bed fit for a queen. You may just be tempted to spend the day in bed. Sit at the vanity table to write your postcards or linger in bed planning out your day of sightseeing.

The Paris/Ile de France region

Montmartre has been the home to artists and performers and lovers of the arts for hundreds of years.
This is a great location for experiencing the real Paris.

Central Paris area

Within walking distance are the Moulin Rouge, Cafe du Moulin (where Amelie worked), and Sacre Coeur. You are also not far from Paris' other monuments.

How to get there

- Just about 23 km from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport.
- We offer a car service through Elysee Car service from 65 euros from CDG and 40 euros from Orly. Contact us for our discount code if you book our apartment.
- You can also use the RER B to get into Paris (Gare du Nord). Within the Gare du Nord station follow the signs to towards the metro line 2 (if you are coming in on Eurostar or Thalys walk towards the RER station signs first to begin to see the metro line 2 signs). Take line 2 toward Porte Dauphine to metro stop Blanche which is just at the bottom of rue Lepic where the apartment is located.

Be aware that at CDG airport the line to get a metro ticket to go into Paris can be very long as the automatic ticket machines only work for French credit cards.

-You do always have the option of taking a regular taxi but the line is often long and you will be charged a small surplus for bags and of course the meter is running even if the traffic isn't moving.
