Large double-glazed windows span the length of the living room and dining area, letting in plenty of natural light.
One of the benefits of this space is the double exposure with windows on both sides of the apartment, ideal for letting in a nice cooling breeze on a warm Summer's day eliminating the need for environmentally un-friendly air conditioning.
You may find yourself lingering on the sofa in front of the large screen TV after your long day of sightseeing. Sit back, relax and enjoy a DVD or watch the international news stations on the cable TV.
Stay in touch with friends via email through our wireless internet connection. There is also a Mac computer there for your use.
The living room has also been fitted with a very modern Chimney that neither creates odor nor smoke for the comfort of everyone (including the environment). The real flame will take the chill our of any Winter day and add to the warm and cosy atmosphere of the room.
The sofa converts to a very comfortable double sofa bed with an extra thick mattress.

We do not actually have a "log fire" but a modern fireplace that using Bioethanol fuel - odourless and warm.
Our twin beds can be set up as a king size bed as needed.

Paris has much to delight the most discerning traveler. For the museum lovers, you have the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Picasso museum just to name a few. For the food lover, you have boulangeries, patisseries and other great speciality shops not to mention the wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars all serving up good eats.
Paris is a delight to visit at any time of the year. In the Spring time you can sit outside at the many side walk cafes and watch the people go by. In the Fall you can stroll through the parks and cemeteries to see the leaves change colour and in the Winter you can enjoy your Chocolat Viennois while you watch passers by on the heated outdoor terraces. At Christmas you have to explore the window displays at the various department stores.
The Central Paris / 9th / IXe area
Juxtapositioned between Montmartre and the Grand Boulevards and Opera, this residential area of Paris is ideal for getting around to explore the city and is also surrounded by great local amenities.
A weekly market at Place d'Anvers brings you fresh produce and great restaurants, bakeries and pastry shops all within walking distance give you a real taste of French culture.
The 9th district is also the home of the world famous Opéra Garnier built between 1862-1875 in the style of Napoleon III with its richly decorated winged figures, columns and friezes.
Also close within walking distance are the Opéra Garnier and the Grands Magasins (department stores): Au Printemps and the Galleries Lafayette.

You can arrive in Paris at any of the major airports, Orly, CDG or Beauvais (Beauvais is 1.5 hours outside of Paris and requires that you take a shuttle bus to Porte Maillot in Paris).
The trains from the North or Europe come into Gare du Nord (Eurostar, Thalys, TGV), and from the East into Gare de l'Est (TGV and trains from Germany). Coming up from the South of France you arrive most likely at Gare de Lyon.

very nice...awesome beds...finally! Excellent management. Only glitch was the next party arrived early and we were late getting out but staff handled it well. Checkout is 10 a.m so this is the fault I can find..especially since we rented for a week and were out 1 day early...so be aware of very early checkout. The place is great..definitly would use again. |

My husband and I have been to Paris several times over the years but without the children. We've always stayed in small hotels and were always disappointed in them. The lobbies look great but when we got to our room we were always disappointed. The slogan that FLHP use ' hotels give you a room but we give you a home' is not just a slogan it's true. Our stay at Elegant Condorcet was just that: a home from home. It was perfect and our teenage children loved it. The decor was gorgorous, the beds fantastic and the location could not have been better. There were several bus stops just a stones throw away that took us in all directions throughout the city, and the metro and main stations were only 10 mins walk. And of course the Sacre Coeur is also just 10 mins walk up the hill. If anyone has reservations about how noisy the apartment might be during the night, there's no need to worry. There wasn't a sound - there was no through traffic during the night. Unfortunately, the week we stayed in Paris was perhaps one of the wettest July weeks in history, and every day we were so grateful to come back to our gorgeous apartment, dry off and relax. There are fantastic small specialist food shops, bistros and cafés on the adjoining street and even 2 large supermarkets within 5 minutes walk that are open until 10pm. So we were able to buy samples and eat them in peace at the apartment. Tip: avoid the queues at the Louvre and Musee d'Orsey in the morning and go in the evening - they both have late openings until 10 pm on particular days of the week. We only queued for the Louvre (Tivolli entrance) for 2 minutes! Response: I'm happy to hear that you were not disappointed by our apartment. In the reverse of hotels sometimes some of the apartments are like diamonds in the rough, where the building entrance may be so so but the apartments can still wow you - not so much the case at Elegant Condorcet but I completely understand what you mean.
