Home description

This beautiful apartment has an absolutely amazing view on the Eiffel tower. It is situated in a modern and highly secured building. Situated on the 7th floor, you are just above the roofs of Paris and have can oversee the Seine River.

The apartment was redone in September 2008 and comprises a large living room including the dining area as well as a study area, and of course the lovely separate bedroom. The kitchen, very Parisian style is separated but all equipped with modern facilities.

This apartment is fully furnished, decorated and equipped with upmarket hi-fi/ video/electrical appliances including 2 large flat-screen TV (Philips Ambilight) and DVD player. The apartment is bathed in sunlight thanks to its very large windows. Whatever is the weather in Paris, the apartment is very clear.

The Paris/Ile de France region

Not for nothing is Paris (the "City of Lights") one of the world's top tourist destinations. With over 180 museums and monuments, you'll be spoilt for choice during your visit - your only problem will be trying not to do too much! Of course, some things are unmissable - the iconic Eiffel Tower (you can even climb to the top if you're feeling particularly energetic!), the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre Museum with its unparalleled collection of artworks including Leonardo's masterpiece, the Mona Lisa.

Fans of the popular French film "Amelie", meanwhile,will enjoy a trip to Montmartre, traditionally the home of artists, which also boasts the spectacular Gothic cathedral of Sacre-Coeur. After all that exploring, you're sure to feel in need of a little refreshment - luckily, Paris is one of the world's gastronomic capitals, with thousands of restaurants catering to every taste and budget.


Central Paris / 7th / VIIe area

The district is along the seine river, a few minute’s walk from the the famous Eiffel Tower and close to the Saint Germain district. Surrounded by parks, like the Champs de Mars or the Esplanade des invalides, it is lovely to walk around and go to museums like le Musée Rodin or the Musée d'Orsay.

There are many restaurants and cafés at hand as well as parks, monuments and museums, and of course a multitude of different shops.

You just need to cross the Seine River to get to the Avenue Montaigne with all the famous shops and to the Champs Elysées.

There are many very close Metro stations: Pont de l'Alma; Alma Marceau; Ecole militaire.
Same for Bus lines : 42 / 80 / 92 / 63 / 69 / 72

Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport is one of the world's major airports, and is served by a range of airlines from all over the world. From the UK, you can get flights with all the budget carriers such as Ryanair and Flybe. There is a direct shuttle from all airports and then you are within minutes to the apartment.

From the UK, alternatively, take the Eurostar from St Pancras International station. It is then 15 min taxi to the apartment.

Paris is also accessible by train and road from the rest of France and Europe.

With 2 very large LCD screen (one in the room and one in the living room), DVD player, dishwasher, washing/drying machine, fully equipped kitchen, hair-dryer...If you wish, you can have on demand and for free, a Wi-fi Internet Connection during your stay.

We provide sheets and towels.

You have at your disposal a selection of books can freely use, focused mainly on Paris and France, enabling you to discover or rediscover the City of Lights.

I personally live in the next door building and I am very willing to help you and guide you during your stay.

Smoking is forbidden in the apartment but there are 2 chairs on the balcony with the same amazing view on the Eiffel tower where you can smoke. A great time to relax outside.

Paris is a lovely city to stay. The taxi station is a couple of feet away from the building, and you can rent Bicycles per hour in a station that is just out of the building.

The rue saint dominique offers all kind of good food stores and a little supermarket for all your needs.
