The surrounding area is full to brimming with upmarket cafés, fresh produce market stalls and wide choice of quality restaurants, from Italian to sushi. Also close by, and within walking distance, is the pleasant "Marais" district, Louvre and Orsay museums and St Germain des Pres right across Pont Neuf.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a typical crooked Parisian building. It gives onto a quiet one-way street and has large double glazed windows. It is fully equipped and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. Its extremely central position makes it ideal to explore museums, taste the nightlife and take in all the thrills that only Paris can offer. Within easy walking distance is the central Châtelet station which has direct lines to almost all locations in and around Paris.

A city which we loved so much we wanted to live like Parisians ourselves, hence Maison Galles Paris. Living the dream I suppose you call it. You can do so as well for a short time and the 2nd district of Paris still retains its olde-worlde charm yet manages to be ultra hip at the same time.

How to get there
The apartment is located in the central 2nd district on Rue d'Aboukir. If you arrive by plane or train, make your way to Gare du Nord and then take line 4 south and three stops later you will be a metro Strasbourg St Denis. You are now less than 100 metres from the apartment. It couldn't be easier. One there you can work to anywhere, but there are the libre velo cycles to hire just outside the apartment should you want to try the scheme out.
