The Paris/Ile de France region
Paris is the capital of France and is among the major cities in Europe you have to visit and it is not too much say that it is perhaps Europe's most beautiful city. Paris has so much to offer such as attractions, architecture and cultural events. Paris has 2 million inhabitants in the city centre and counting the suburbs, it has reached approximately 12 million making Europe's second largest city, surpassed only by London.
Central Paris / 13th / XIIIe area
The river Seine runs through the stunning city and there is nothing like a cruise on the river in the evening. On both sides of the river you will see one beautiful building after another. There are plenty of museums and sights seeing mixed with the unique romantic atmosphere. Paris is divided into 20 different areas known as arrondissements and with its size and distances you will use a lot of time walking around between the sightseeing, but Paris has a reasonably good metro network, which makes it easy to get around.
How to get there
The apartment is situated approx. 30 km from Airport Charles de Gaulle and 20 km from Airport Orly. The best way to get to the apartment is by train to the city centre and from the city centre by Metro to Saint Marcel.
Or go by bus from the airport to the city centre and from there to Metro station Saint Marcel.
