Home description
Welcome to your intimate and warm nest right in the heart of the city and the Montmartre neighborhood.Come in off the tree lined street and enter a peaceful serene environment. A home a away from home, that combines old word charm and modern convenience.
Your eye quickly catches the living room filled with soothing colours, marble floor, and choice antique furniture that has been haned down or personally selected to create a harmonious interior. Even the artwork which adorns the walls reflects a bit of old world French culture. There is plenty of seating for you and guests to enjoy an afternoon tea or glass of wine.
The sofa plays a dual role as seating during the day and comfy single bed by night. You also have the option of enjoying your morning croissant or home cooked dinners next to the fireplace or dine in front of the TV.
The main bedroom is spacious, airy and light and faces the building courtyard. Behind the mirrored closet you will find plenty of storage for your bags to allow you to unpack and make yourself at home.
Rest assured that after a long days exploring this breathtaken city, you will have a warm, quiet and relaxing environment to come "home".

The Paris/Ile de France region
Paris and why we love just goes without saying. A romantic getaway, a city of many delights and wonders. One of the most visited capitals in the world. You've been here once but you can't help but want to come back again and again.
Whether you come to see the artwork held at the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay or the Centre Pompidou, or come to eat and shop at the many outdoor markets, you can not help but appreciate that certain art de vivre that makes Paris oh so special.
Famous monuments include the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe on the Champs Elysee and Sacre Coeur.
Enjoy cafe dining al fresco or see a good old fashioned Can Can at the Moulin Rouge. If you still have the energy after touring the city by day, Paris is well worth a view by night - discover why it is called the city of lights.
Central Paris / 18th / XVIIIe - Montmartre area
This is definitely Montmartre as was known and loved by the great painters, home of Sacre-Coeur and the Moulin Rouge.
Everything is at your doorstep -from the finest foods, open markets, wine, cheese, meats, flowers to moody cafes and excellent neighborhood restaurants - Not to mention our own French cooking school just a block away (Cook'n With Class).
The apartment is stradled by bohemian Paris and world market charm. You will find the best of spices and produce at the Chateau Rouge market to one side, and the fois gras, bordeaux et camembert on the other. We are also close to the rue du Poteau Market where you are again not limited on choice.

Single beds (1), Double beds (1), Sleeps maximum of 3
Other:
Linen and towels provided.
Further details indoors: Rather than a sofa that can be at times uncomfortable, we have installed a single bed in the living that by day is your sofa, where you can relax, watching TV or reading a book, and by night is a comfortable extra bed if you are 3 or 2 people needing two beds.
The apartment is also fitted with modern amenities such as cable television, DVD player and internet access.
The kitchen is outfitted with everything you would need to prepare meals big or small. Stove top to boil your eggs fresh from the market that morning, a combo microwave/oven, whether to reheat your cafe creme or roast a chicken, a dishwasher to make clean up easy and more time efficient. You can also put in a load of wash while you stroll out for the day in the combination washer/dryer.
The most unique aspect of the apartment is the shower. Located just off the kitchen, you will be able to unwind and massage those tired limbs using the spa shower, providing powerful jets to soothe away the days journey. The toilet( WC) is separate from the bathroom as the french prefer and as is quite practical.
An antique desk provides you with a Mac computer so you can keep in touch with those back home or simply write a postcard or two. Perhaps the most important feature of the room for any weary traveler is the comfy double bed that might just have you languishing till noon.
We have provided internet access and a Mac computer for your use.
