The Paris/Ile de France region
The metro is only two minutes walk.. You can walk to Invalide or to the Champs de Mars. Very safe district and building. You can also catch the RER B to the Eiffel Tower, Musée d'Orsay, the Louvre,and Notre Dame in a short space of time.
Central Paris / 7th / VIIe area
The Invalides ( Napoleon thumb) and the Effeil tower are very close. Nearby, you can walk to " Rue Cler" with its famous every days street market, and many tipycal French restaurants.
Near by,the Ecole militaire and the "Champs de Mars" are also to see and walk. With 2 metro stops, you are on the river side with the new museum of first arts, and the meeting point for the boats " bateaux-mouche"
