Tucked away on a quiet street named after two daughters of a former resident (Marie et Louise), between the Canal St Martin & the Hopital Saint Louis (Paris' oldest hospital), is a a charming 2-bedroom apartment we have named, Parisian Charm. Though withdrawn from the hustle bustle of Paris' busy streets, this apartment is ideally located for either walking or riding to the tourist sites.
Situated on the 5th floor (no worries there is an elevator), enter a peaceful, tranquil environment that you will call home on your visit with us.

Paris is and always will be a stunning city to visit. Partake is Paris the way a Parisian would and experience the diversity of this amazing city.
Central Paris / 10th / Xe area
The Canal St Martin and Place de la Republique areas of Paris are synonymous with great food both French and International, and a young fun and lively atmosphere.
You can take a barge ride originating from the Bastille along the Canal which was once a principal water route for import and export for Paris. This is a leisure voyage which is great fun for kids and adults alike with the mechanical locks and footbridges.
On warm evenings and at weekends, bring a picnic or a take-away and sit on the banks of the canal to watch the word go by.
Just a few meters from the apartment is the Hopital Saint Louis founded by Henri IV shortly before his assassination, whose central square (open to the public on weekdays) is a remarkable example of 1615 architecture, a calmer and more hidden version of Place des Vosges.
You can also find great shopping along the Canal.
There are fantastic restaurants on your doorstep, your only problem will be choosing which one to visit!
How to get there
Whether coming into Paris by rail or by plane, getting to the apartment is easy. You can even walk from Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est rail stations in about 15 minutes.

Guestbook for Parisian Charm
It's my first time in Paris and not my last. The flat is wonderful, it was hard to peel ourselves from it but we did. We chose to walk everywhere as I didn't want to miss any of the visual pleasures of Paris. The location is super, food excellent. First night we went to a jazz bar, last night we danced in a club till 4am and today we walked to Sacre Coeur which was a panting experience but we made it to every mass and saw the surrounding beauty! Thank you so much for letting us stay in this wonderful apartment. Great location and very nice to be able to come to a "home" instead of a hotel. Philippe
