The Paris/Ile de France region
Paris city of lights
The French capital, resplendent in its prestige, architecture and cultural importance, never ceases to appeal and fascinate.
It's difficult, if not impossible, to describe in a few lines a city which enjoys one of the world’s most flattering reputations. Its rich past and flourishing cultural life make Paris one of the world’s most visited cities - nearly 20 million visitors a year.
Ile-de-France boasts numerous open spaces outside Paris for sports such as golf, horse riding, mountain biking (MTB), walking and other outdoors activities. I recommend the forests of Montmorency, Ile d’Adam, Compiegne and Fontainebleau
Please visit my apartment personal website for further details about the local area and tourist activities.

Further details
The apartment will be thoroughly clean before you arrive. Cleaning is included in the price. I will expect to find the apartment tidy when you depart, otherwise the cleaning person will need to spend longer tidying up and cleaning and I will have to deduct the extra expenditure from your deposit. Please note that I do not expect you to clean the apartment but leave it tidy eg: clean the kitchen surface or tables if you spill drinks, wash your own glasses, plates, etc, take the rubbish bin downstairs. I of course do not expect you to hoover, dust over the furniture or clean the bathroom unless you are on for a long stay and do not require cleaning.
Please check my own website for further details on conditions. The apartment is non-smoking and unfortunately no pets allowed. Cleaning is done once a week but if you wish additional cleaning during the week, I can arrange that for you for an additional charge of €30.00.
Conditions
Preferred payment method by Paypal (no need to open a paypal account, it is enough with having a credit card). Otherwise bank transfer. I do not accept cheques.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A €200.00 security deposit is due together with the 100% payment for your stay by bank transfer or paypal. For long stays I will require €400.00 deposit. While children are welcome, the nature of the furnishings and decoration implies a potential risk of deterioration by children (felt pen markings on walls or sofa, etc.). The customer accepts responsibility for these risks via the security deposit. You will be liable for any damages caused during the rental period and discovered during check-out. Minor accidents such as a broken glass will not be taken into account.

Guestbook for My Paris Apartment
My husband and I stayed at the Paris Apartment 1 in March. The location was wonderful - a straight train ride from CDG. The decor was charming and the amenities were fantastic. We were able to call home to Canada free of charge and hook onto the internet to research or stay connected. Everything is there if you prefer to stay in for a Parisienne picnic. It was fantastic to do a day of walking and then to come home and flop on the couch and relax. David was incredibly hospitable and helpful! His number is provided and if you have any question he's more than happy to help out. I'd highly recommend his apartment. Jenn & Gordon, Toronto, Ontario
Staying at David's apartment was a great way of discovering Paris. It's location was very convenient for using public busses and metro.Walking around the neighbourhood was a real experience, we even enjoyed walking down to Quartier Latin when there was no rain. Apartment itself was ideal : quite spacious, quiet and of course very clean. Look forward to going back soonest. Thanks David, Zerrin & Mahmut Boynudelik, Istanbul - Turkey
We stayed at David's apartment in February and would recommend it to anyone looking for great accommodation in Paris. The apartment has excellent quality facilities and the area is lovely, with excellent local shops and restaurants. It is only a short Metro ride to the main attractions and we hope to stay there again soon. Thank you David for your friendly service, we shall be back! K&K Ken & Katrina, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK
