The apartment is situated in the heart of Paris across from the Louvre in an ancient royal building built by Louis XIV. High ceilings and large windows overlooking two historically classed buildings add a feeling of grandeur to the atmosphere.
The apartment consists of a hallway with one or 2 bathrooms and two to 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom has an elevated “night” area with a queen-size bed that overlooks the “day” area with a sofa-bed.
The location is perfect for vacations. Just 100 metres from the Louvre, you’re also within easy walking distance of the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Latin Quarter, the Orsay Museum and Pompidou Centre. The small street in front of the apartment is nice and quiet.
The apartment was renovated in 2007 and comes with all the modern conveniences you’ll need for you stay. Air conditioning and un underground parking can be provided upon request for an additional fee to be negotiated with the owner. There’s a washer and dryer operated by the owner team in a common area on the same floor as the apartment.

The Paris/Ile de France region
The Building, dated from the17st century, is a side part of the Louvre where several members of the Royal Family were hosted in. Because of the 3,5-3,7m hight ceilings, the thick walls, floors and parquets, the apartment is very quiet (the walls are 1m thick in some places). It was transformed and totally renewed by the end of 2005/2006. But as it is protected by the State, the original style of this rich house has been restored as it was in the 17th century when Louis de XIVth was our king.
The history of this place is very rich: this place was the heart of The Protestant area and many of them were hidden here during the Saint Barthelemy night, then the Kings family was hosted here; it was also a dance school of the Royal Court …
Central Paris / 1st / Ier area
The Building is located in the very Centre of Paris, the1st district. This is probably the best location a tourist can dream: - 50m from the Louvre metro station, - 100m from the Louvre Museum, - 100m from the Saint Honouré street where the best shops, food and restaurants are located. - 200m from the biggest French Train and Metro station (underground) to go wherever you want in France. - 5min walk to the Latin Quarter, to Notre Dame, to Beaubourg … 10min to Champs Elysées, Everything is on your feet : no need to use the Metro or the bus.

As this property is very flexible (between 1 and 5 linkable apartments) please explain with details what you need (space , beds, equipment, view, balcony ..) we will help you to find the best possible compromise between the cost and the comfort. These 2 last parameters can lead you to choose something between a -2 rooms+2lofts+1 bathroom+kitchenette+4 doublebeds apartment for 8 guests at a very low price (under 25% of a hotel rate/person in this area) but also it will then be only a place to sleep; to a 4rooms+3lofts+3bathrooms+2kitchens+8doubebeds+big balcony much more expensive but then your level of comfort and space will also be much higher (about 130m2 or 1300sf). For small groups between 1 and 6 guests we usually propose the cheapest possible solution as for short stays it is comfortable, between 6 and 8 you have a choice between 1 and 2 apartments if your group is bigger than 12 we propose 3 linkable apartments. But you are free to choose 2 or 3 apartments for 6 if for example you are 3 couples and you want that each couple have its own apartment... We did choose this pricing policy to open one of best locations in Paris to families with low budget or groups of young people (like students) who want to visit our city but do not yet have the budget to stay in a hotel. But If you choose the cheapest solution please do not expect to have the comfort of the most expensive one.
