The apartment is on the ground floor with windows looking onto a courtyard full of plants.

The open plan kitchen/dining has all mod-cons. It is light and airy. The open living room has a comforable sofa bed (sleeps 2) and two arm chairs, cable TV / DVD player.

Central Paris / 18th / XVIIIe - Montmartre area

Despite all it's fame, Montmartre has retained a unique village atmosphere that sets it apart from other areas in Paris. Perched on a hill with spectacular views, Montmartre is an area full of surprises. The myriad of streets that make up Montmartre and adjoining Abbesses are a pleasure to explore - full of restaurants, bars, museums and the market in rue de Lepic is a classic - with excellent butchers, seafood, bakers and some great cafes.

How to get there

Being situated in the north of Paris means easy access to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport by taxi (25 minutes outside of rush hour) or the train (RER) at the airport to Gare du Nord, from where it's a 6 minute taxi ride or a 10-15 minute walk to the apartment.
The Eurostar/Thalys terminal (trains to and from London, Brussels and Amsterdam) is at Gare du Nord. Gare du Nord to the apartment is a 6 minute taxi ride or a 10-15 minute walk.
Nearest Metro stations:
Anvers (Line 12): 3 minute walk
Abesses (Line 12): 8 minute walk
Barbes Rochechouart (Line 4): 5 minute walk
