About the home

Charming apartment - full of light, character and Parisian style. Very comfortable with a large open kitchen/dining room with a table that seats 6 comfortably, separate living room with tv and DVD player (+ a large collection of DVDs), study area with wi-fi, double sofa bed and large bathroom with ceiling window.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor with windows on one side looking over the street and the other, bedroom side looking onto a courtyard full of plants.

50% reservation fee to secure booking.

The Central Paris / 18th / XVIIIe - Montmartre area

Despite all it's fame, Montmartre has retained a unique village atmosphere that sets it apart from other areas in Paris. Perched on a hill with spectacular views, Montmartre is an area full of surprises. The myriad of streets that make up Montmartre and adjoining Abbesses are a pleasure to explore - full of restaurants, bars, museums and the market in rue de Lepic is a classic - with excellent butchers, seafood, bakers and some great cafes.

Being situated in the north of Paris means easy access to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport by taxi (25 minutes outside of rush hour) or the train (RER) at the airport to Gare du Nord, from where it's a 6 minute taxi ride or a 10-15 minute walk to the apartment.
The Eurostar/Thalys terminal (trains to and from London, Brussels and Amsterdam) is at Gare du Nord. Gare du Nord to the apartment is a 6 minute taxi ride or a 10-15 minute walk.

"Four of us visited the apartment for two nights, wish it had been longer! So handy from Gare du Nord and great food on first night in restaurant right below apartment. Then being able to take a short but steep stroll after dinner up the beautiful iconic Parisian steps to Sacre Coeur and look out over Paris by night was wonderful. Next day we grabbed some Velib bikes from round the corner and we were off exploring the sights by bike, perfect. The apartment had everything we could wish for and it was very quiet too. Full of charm and great for breakfasts with boulangerie across the road. comfy beds and lovely lady who welcomed us and explained everything, surely the best way to stay in Paris. Just wish we had longer and next time will have to come back with the children!"

"The best located, spacious, light and charming apartment in the heart of Paris right at the foot of the Sacre Coeur. Who could ask for more. We couldn´t! Good beds, a clean space and good instructions on how to work everything in the apartment and a really good friendly service from both the owner and the concierge. We had the best of times at our stay here. It was easy to get around from the nearby metro and there is a lot of really good restaurants in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed it very much and won't hesitate to return for our next stay."
