Home description

The apartment in the Avenue Marceau is a 26 sqm (280 sq feet) beautiful renovated duplex studio located on the ground floor of a 1900 Hausman building at 26 Avenue Marceau in the heart of the 8th arrondissement. This is a very special apartment--a stay in this apartment is one of the prizes that Eurorail, Air France, and Eurorelais are giving to the winner of the famous Tour de France bicycle race.

The apartment has a double bed in the bedroom section of the upper level and a sofa bed on the ground level of the living room. There is a marble floor in the bathroom, which is located in the upper level of the apartment next to the bedroom section. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and a bar, a stainless steel microwave, a glass top stove and stainless steel refrigerator. The living room is very tastefully decorated in “Belle Epoque” style. A chandelier matches the black white marble floor, a wrought iron staircase leads up to the bedroom, and hand painted copies of famous paintings in the foyer make you feel that you are still enjoying the Musee d’Orsay and the Louvre!

The apartment is equipped with stereo and TV.

Access to the elegant courtyard will allow you to enjoy an oasis in the middle of central Paris. Enjoy a “petit dejeuner” sitting on a garden bench in the courtyard.

Local transportation is easy: the nearest metro stop is Alma Marceau and there is a taxi stand and a bus stop in front of the door A local super marché, bakery shops and laundry and tobacco shops are just across the street.

The Paris/Ile de France region

Paris, a city full of life ,of culture, romance, gastronomy, design and fashion.
The city that never stops, awash with musuems and steeped in history , over 1,800 classified monuments, 170 museums, 145 theatres and 380 cinemas. If you have ever wanted to do it all then this is the place you probably could!
Beautiful people wearing high fashion and life in the fast lane, only a small part of what this glorious city has to offer.

Take a turn into an alleyway and find yourself in a quiet place where time appears to of stood still, the calm greeting of a small shop owner and a gentle stroll to see the architechtural jewels that lay hidden ahead.

Central Paris area

The Eiffel Tower, undoubtedly the Paris landmark and must-see monument, is 324 metres high and weighs a total of 10,000 tons. Built for the World Fair in 1889...its impossible to visit Paris without seeing this.

Sightseeing in Paris is like stepping into ancient history: remains of the old Roman Lutetia, grand medieval abbeys, gothic masterpieces, classical architecture, collections from Napoleonic times, perspectives defined by Haussmann.

Paris is known all over the world as a leader in great cuisine ; combining talent, expertise and fine-quality French produce. To try the delights of traditional French cuisine, the choice of restaurants and cafés is simply huge, each with its own blend atmosphere and style.

There is so much to do and see and eat here there is something for everyone!
