This 75 square meter (810 square feet) two-bedroom two-bathroom apartment is located in a charming and newly renovated five-story townhouse, steps from Saint Sulpice, Saint Germain des Près, and the lovely Jardin de Luxembourg. The house is found on one the most chic addresses in Paris - the very elegant, quiet, wide and extremely safe Rue de Tournon (also home to the French Senate and the Garde Républicaine). There are only two residential units on the top floors of this building, and both of them belong to the same owner. The bottom floors are occupied by a discrete art gallery open only a few hours a day.

This flat was fully renovated in 2010 by an interior designer using the finest materials and finishes, including a top of the line made-to-measure kitchen with Lacanche stove, granite countertops, and stocked with Gien china (a renowned French brand), antique oak and slate floors, exposed wooden beams, custom wood library, and luxurious bathrooms finished in travertine, antique teak floors, tumbled marble tiles, and with Horus faucets. There is air conditioning in all rooms.

It can sleep up to 5 people (including an air bed for one person).

The Paris/Ile de France region

The Ile de France region, so named because of the rivers that encircle it, offers delightful countryside and the bustling metropolis of Paris itself. In an ageless city, you can sample the best cuisine in France, take a trip on the Bateaux Mouche and visit the cathedrals of Sacré Coeur and Notre Dame. The Louvre museum and the Musee D’Orsay between them house some of the world’s finest works of art, and the enduring appeal of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe are not to be resisted.

Central Paris

The city remains culturally formidable, from the ancient Sorbonne to the vibrant Left Bank. Outside the buzz of Paris, Ile de France offers the magnificent palace of Versailles and the forest and chateau at Fontainbleau. There is also ample opportunity to entertain the children at Euro Disneyland and Parc Astérix.
