About the home

A light and airy studio situated in an elegant and historic building with lift (6th floor), guard, and security coded main entrance. The studio has views over eastern Paris and yet faces an internal courtyard which ensures peace and quietness.

The comfortable living room has a TV (Cable) and Hi FI with connection for IPOD
There is a very comfortable and true double bed (1,40m large).
The shower room and the kitchen have been reniewed on Feb 2013
The kitchen is stocked with a complementary supply of groceries: tea, coffee, Oil, salt, sugar, etc.

For your comfort, you'll find a special guide written in english to answer at all your enquiries about the studio (electrical panel, the bulbs, the connection to internet...) about the area outside (where to find stores, restaurants...)and how to go to all the major attractions from the studio...

Most importantly, the studio has an exceptional location: 2 typical Parisian open markets are within 2 minutes walk(Poncelet and Bayen), the most popular avenue in the world "Avenue des Champs Elysees" is close by
In addition there are many convenient transport connections. 3 metro stations are within 300 meters (Etoile, Pereire, Ternes), 2 RER stations A and C which drive you directly to Versailles, the AIR FRANCE shutlle bus stop for Roissy Charles de Gaulle and for Orly Airports, the bus stop for Beauvais Airport at Porte Maillot , and just in front of the building the 92 and 93 bus stop for a direct connection to the left bank (Eiffel Tower, Saint Germain des Pres...)
If you are arriving with EUROSTAR at the station Gare du Nord, you have a direct metro M2 direction Dauphine and you stop at "Ternes" it will take 20 minutes and you will have to walk 5 minutes to reach the studio
A wide selection of restaurants are also situated close by serving traditional french food and many other styles, together, of course with an eclectic assortment of hip cafes and brasseries.

The Central Paris / 17th / XVIIe area

The studio has an exceptional location: two typical Parisian street markets are within 2 minutes walk (Poncelet and Bayen), the romantic Champs Elysees is close-by and, in addition, there are many convenient transport connections. The western part of the 17th arrondissement stretches from the Arc de Triomphe, The avenue des Ternes, the very romantic Parc Monceau.
If a visit of Paris should obviously start with the Champs Elysees, then Tour Eiffel, Louvre, Motre Dame, Orsay museum and Chateau de Versaille
do not miss the Jacquemart Andre Museum and Nissim de Camondo Museum altogether close by the studio

Just about 7 km Arriving from the international EUROSTAR train station of Gare du Nord

The station is served by a dedicated Metro station /Bus system and taxi.
so transfer to and from the train station to the Metro is very easy.

By Metro
Walk towards the RER station sign first to begin to see the metro line 4signs.Take line 4 towards Porte de Clignancourt to metro stop Barbes Rochechouart (just 1 stop) change and take line 2 towards Porte Dauphine to metro stop Ternes. Go down the avenue des Ternes until avenue Niel where the studio is located. It's just 5 minutes walking from the metro

By bus
You take outside the station, the bus line 43 until the stop Mac Mahon-Ternes, and th.e studio is located at 150m from the stop, on avenue Niel.You can buy your ticket (metro ticket)inside the bus

Those with more than a small amount of luggage will probably want to consider taking a taxi but they will have to be patient, you will have to wait around 30 minutes before to get it ( always large queue).

By airplane:

Roissy/Charles de Gaulle Airport is just about 23 km and is served by AIR FRANCE shuttle, the Paris Metro and taxi.

You can use Air France shuttle (from terminal 1 & 2) and get it until the 2nd and last stop in Paris "Place de l'Etoile". then it's just 200m by walking to achieve the studio : Rue General lanrezac, Avenue Mac Mahon and Avenue Niel. The price is 12€ by person and it will take around 1 hour depending the traffic.

You can also use The RER B to get into Paris until the stop Chatelet, then change and get the RER A toward La Defense to the stop Charles de Gaulle Etoile. Then it's 200 meters by walking to achieve the studio by the avenue Mac Mahon and then avenue Niel.

You do always have the option of taking a regular taxi (around 40-50 euros)depending the traffic.

From Beauvais Airport (Ryanair low cost company)
You take the shuttle bus arriving in Paris, Place du General Koening and it's just 10mns walking by avenue des Ternes and then Avenue Niel where the studio is located

“First visit to Paris” Just returned from a wonderful four night break at Niel Studio. The owner, Janick, extremely pleasant and helpful and would highly recommend this studio for anyone visiting Paris, particularly for first visit. Location really good for visiting all of the "sights" and also felt completely safe walking around the area at any time of the day or evening. Would highly recommend and certainly use this apartment again. “Lovely Spacious Apartment for two in the perfect location” I could not believe how close the apartment is to l'Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysee, no more than a 3 minute walk. You have to walk through a pretty courtyard to get to the apartment block. The landlady is a star, she was waiting for us in the apartment on our arrival. She's put together a book in the apartment with directions to everywhere and recommendations of bakeries and restaurants. It's in the most perfect location, quiet and safe but so central. There's a quaint outdoor market across the street and a supermarket beside it. The apartment is the perfect size, newly decorated and very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. I would return to Paris in a heartbeat and would definitely stay in the same place.

“Just great!” Janick was just fab! Our flight was delayed by two days and she moved the booking around to accommodate us. The apartment is in a great area, close enough for lovely food (10 mins walk from L'Arc and the Champs) but far enough away for it to be a little cheaper than right in the centre. Everything you need in the apartment, though do allow a couple of hours to get from CDG if you're taking the RER and Metro. An oasis of peace in the apartment, though TV channels limited the access to wifi is excellent. Would definitely stay again.

“wonderful place to stay” wonderful place to stay, easy access to all major sites, metro, buses everywhere you want to go walking distance to Champs Elysees, very easy way from and to the airports by bus or RER just ideal place to make your stay in Paris a pure pleasure

“Our place to stay in Paris” We have stayed here on many occasions starting in 2007. We have always found Jannick, the owner, very helpful and the apartment clean and tidy for our arrival. The apartment building is quiet, well maintained and we in a very nice part of Paris. It is a good base to visit and stay in Paris with the local markets ,metro and bus connections.

“Central area, well equipped studio - have recommended to friends” The owner was extremely helpful. The location of the apartment was excellent - very central to everything. The area is safe and secure. The studio was clean and is very well equipped and comfortable with everything required for my stay. Storage for clothes and suitcases was very ample. Tourist information was supplied at the studio. The apartment is easily booked and the owner supplied instructions on how to get there. Will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Paris. WiFi was also available. I have recommended the apartment to some friends here in Australia who will be travelling next year and have actually made a booking.

“Very comfortable studio” Just home from a very enjoyable week in Paris where we stayed in this studio. The owner was very prompt in replying to our initial enquiry and made the process of booking the apartment very easy. She provided clear information on the various options for travelling to the studio from the airport and arranged to meet us and let us in. The studio is on the 6th floor and the building has a small but serviceable elevator. The photographs on the website are a very good indication of how the studio is arranged. It is bright – but with blinds for use at night – and very well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There is good storage for clothes and suitcases. The kitchen has everything needed for making light meals (I even roasted a chicken in the small oven). The bed is very comfortable and the apartment block was very quiet at night. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and I look forward to staying in this studio again.

“Great Location, Charming Neighborhood,” This studio was perfect for two. The location was excellent. Close to shopping, restaurtants, Major Attractions and the metro. Studio has everything you need to be comfortable. Kitchen is well supplied and we found that we were provided with very nice bed linens, and bath towells. Building has a lift which is great as studio is on 6th floor. Nice collection of tourist information is available in studio. Along with book that has lots of helpful information and maps. The studio was quiet and clean and we hope to return to stay again.
