Five minutes from the Louvre, the Beaubourg and Saint Germain districts and even the Notre Dame Cathedral, all equally accessible on foot!

Furthermore, subway lines 1, 4, 7, 11 and 14 and regional trains RER A, B and D are just steps away (Palais Royal and/or Chatelet stations) will allow you to reach all other major Paris destinations and offer direct access or nearly direct access to the train stations and international airports Orly and Charles de Gaulle.

The Louvre II apartment is located on the 2nd floor (no elevator) of a charming courtyard belonging to a 19th century building.

If you walk straight across the entrance hall, where the owner took pleasure in leaving some books for you to read, you shall directly enter the main room.

You will be immediately captivated by the clean cut design that highlights the apartment's wood floors and centennial beams. The living room has a sofa (sleeps 2) where you will be able to enjoy the wireless internet connection made readily availability.

The open plan adjoining kitchen is fully equipped. Quite a unique opportunity to try your cooking skills on some French cuisine!

Opposite the living room is the bedroom, which issues forth a cosy feel, and is equipped with a double bed (140 cm wide) and offers a superb LCD TV.

Lastly, the apartment counts on a bathroom next to the bedroom, with a bathtub, perfect to relax in after a day's visit on the town.

Exhausted by the weight of the centuries (as well as souvenirs and gifts!), take a minute for a romantic halt at the marvellous gardens of the Tuileries or those of the Palais Royal ... unless you prefer to succumb to the zen ambiance and sashimi dishes of one of the many Japanese restaurants on the Rue St. Anne.

That goes to show how French tradition and international cuisine can get along well together!
