Imagine waking to the smell of fresh croissants from the bakery downstairs. You are renting this flat on an island in the Seine with its close proximity to Notre Dame, Le Marais and the left bank. But you never reall have to leave the Isle St Louis with its charming shops and restaurants right outside your door !! Your flat has all the amenities needed dor a pleasant stay ,TV, DVD kitchen, air conditioning , and all for less than a hotel room!!The lovely owner , Annie will meet you upon your arrival and make sure you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.Enjoye all Paris has to offer in this charming flat! Marsha Danosky Seattle wa USA .... septembre 2006
We very much enjoyed our 10 days stay in Annie's charming apartment .We were made to feel most welcome with all kinds of extras, and appreciate the use of both a laundry washer in the bathroom and the dishwasher in the kitchen. The island is one of the most desirable location in Paris, steps away from Notre Dame, an easy walk to the Louvre, and the sense of history engulfs the visitor with its beautiful 17th and 18th century buildings. The arome of freshly baked bread and croissants from the boulangerie dowstairs rises up to the window in the morning, a lovely way to be awakened..Highly recommended USA october 2006
What a great place to stay.Annie was really helpful and she left us heaps of extras in the apartment....There is a great smell of bread from the shop next to the ground floor...The location is also excellent. The apartment complex ppens up to the street that has many shops and is full of french culture...My parents and I had a great stay , thanks Annie James, Cambridge october 2006
We had a wonder full stay at the apartment. The location was fantastic as we were able to get around to all of the tourist attractions either by boat or buses without walking too far.The island is fantastic in that when you are tired being a tourist, you can just walk out of the front door to a bakery, bar or restaurant. Our host Annie, made our stay even more wonderful by being so helpful. The little extras added touches to the apartment made our stay very special.I would definitely stay again !!!! Jude Harvey, Victoria, Australia.. november 2006.
I was delighted to work with Madame Annie before I even saw this apartment. Her english is perfect and her attention to detail exceptionnal. The apartment is all that is advertised and more. Inside , it becomes a home away from home with all that one would need for comfort. The kitchen is well equipped though small and the bed felt new and firm.Ah , and it has a bath tube, rare in Paris.Outside, one is on the island.Walking out the building turn left for cheese and a bit farther for the best chocolate at Charlote's. Turn right for bakery goods and a touch further for meat...nd walking in each direction down the main street of the island, it just gets better. At night it is possible to walk down St Louis en l'Ile and shops still late.Franc Pinot is a great jazz club to visit on the week ends. Thanks again Annie for your kindness and hospitality.I will be back. Ms Elin Babcock Parisian Tour,Ashland, Oregon, USA november 2006
We spent two weeks in Paris , and this little apartment was our real home .Although outside was cold , inside we never used the heather. That was we guess, because it is a building that is 2 or 3 hundred years old, when the walls were very thick.Annie make us feel as if we had a helpful friend in Paris. The location is excellent, as we have throught. If you go there, not forget to dine at the closet restaurant, 5 meters from the building entrance (I do not remember its name):It is excellent. And the bakery that is located at the level floor, is very good, with delicious small cakes and baguettes, and wonderful people attending it.Every thing that is offered by Annie is true. Joaquin de la Sierra . Mexico . November 2006
We have just had a wonderful week in Annie's apartment and have already booked our next stay. The apartment has everything we could need ( and more!) and the location is perfect.Annie makes everything easy to organise. There is absolutely no point staying in a hotel if you can get into this apartment .Many thanks and " a bientot" .. Dear Annie,
I really didn't have time to write an appropriate thank you for our week-long stay in your Ile St Louis apartment. The location speaks for itself. I realize that we could have just stayed on the ile for our entire week and still have experienced the joys of life in france; the boulangerie below and the lovely fromagerie just beside our door. The bar on the corner was great fun during the rugby world cup and the post office around the corner saved us hauling our "treasures" back to the U.S. I think we ate (or drank) in at least half of the local restaurants and enjoyed each meal more than the last. I loved the grocer around the corner who selected just the right melon for our breakfast and made sure we had the best goat's milk yoghurt. Oh yes, we did manage to buy a "trinket" or two in the shops too. Not to mention the evening's ice cream cone.
As for the apartment itself, it could not have been more comfortable. One of our party laid claim to her aerie right off the bat and was happy and cozy in the loft the entire week. We other two split the king bed into two singles and slept most comfortably. The cool breeze coming in through the window made for very restful nights. I especially appreciate the many soft pillows you provide. The bathroom was perfect with plenty of hot water and fluffy towels and we even managed to run a load of laundry. We didn't cook, altho we could have easily. As long as there's a kettle for tea and a fridge to keep the cheese cool, we're happy. Awakening to the smell of baking croissants is certainly the best way to be in Paris. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. I hope we'll be able to return very soon to Paris and the Ile.

Merci beaucoup for letting us stay at your nice, cosy, and quiet apartment! The location of this flat could not have been more convenient. A quiet side street, nearby the Seine, but yet very close to everything Paris has to offer. We found the apartment very well decorated and charming. We had all we need for day by day such as a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, TV, washing machine and a very comfortable bed. This place felt like home! Our trip to Paris had not been the same great experience if we had stayed at a hotel.
We also really enjoyed the Île Saint-Louis, lots of lovely shops, good places to eat and central to many major sights such as Notre Dame, Hôtel de ville, Place de la Bastille, Jardin des Plantes and many more. We had such a lovely time in Paris and definitely would love to come back and stay at your apartment again!
