This one bedroom self-contained apartment sleeps four people. It is located in 2nd arrondissement of Paris in an exquisitely designed setting. Close to Louvre, Palais Royal, Opera, Sacre Coeur, Grand Blvds & Cafes. Our apartment contains a well-appointed designer kitchen flowing onto a breakfast counter that comfortably seats four. The kitchen is fitted with convection microwave oven, cooktop, exhaust canopy, an under counter refrigerator with freezer and washer/dryer. We have equipped it with quality appliances including a Dualit toaster, an Alessi kettle and an Nespresso coffee machine. Of course there is ample crockery, cutlery, glassware, cooking equipment and utensils for all ones needs

The private bedroom is fitted with a proper queen size bed, of 160 x 200 as well two bedside tables and a wardrobe, all that one needs.

Our large lounge room has a very comfortable Bo Concept fold out sofa with an extra thick mattress (140 wide), which is used when more than two people occupy the apartment. The lounge seats three, in addition to a separate lounge chair. The entertainment system comprises a Samsung flat screen LCD TV and Blu-ray DVD player, cable TV with English channels, wireless high speed internet and a Bose Soundtouch WIFI enabled stereo (or connection by 3.5 cable). A desk is also provided for those that wish to do work from home, even in Paris!

In addition there is a separate dining area that provides comfortable seating for four people.

The chic bathroom contains a bath (a must after a busy day of sightseeing) and shower, with a spacious, separate toilet.

There is heating throughout the apartment.

This stunning apartment faces into an internal courtyard so it is lovely and quiet, and is located on the first floor of a true 1950's Parisian building. There is also a lift.

As we are non-smokers, this is rented as non-smoking apartment.

Crisp bed linen and towels will be provided along basic amenities.

As we do not live here permanently, none of our personal belongings are kept in it so you will feel more like you are staying in a hotel than our home once you have unpacked. Just the way we like it.

There are also two large cupboards on either side of the dining room which will hold your luggage and any additional clothing.

You will be greeted by our building Guardian, Joaquina on arrival, she is a delightful Portuguese lady who also speaks French. She will run you through the basic workings of the apartment with you. Please be aware her English is limited but you will also find a guest manual which provides further explanations of the equipment, apartment and the local area . Should you have any further queries please contact us , we will be more than happy to assist you at any time of day or night. Wishing you a wonderful Parisian experience.

Only via email and telephone as we are based overseas, but contactable at any time of day or night

On the border of the 1st and 2nd, we are in one of the most sought after locations in Paris. Within a 15 minute walk of the most important museums and monuments Paris has to offer, whilst still feeling like a Parisian rather than a tourist. Our apartment is in a traditional Parisian building, in a quiet residential street just around the corner from the historic Bourse, otherwise known as the French stock exchange. We are a 25 minute stroll to the Marais and the very up and coming 10th arrondissement. We are also within a 15 minute walk the Louvre, straight down Rue Richelieu, Palais Royal and the Seine. The Opera is within a short stroll and the major shopping precinct on Grand Boulevards is within this precinct.

Yes there are three metros within 5 minutes and the public bus system takes you to St Germain in minutes if you don't want a 30 minute stroll, and of course many other destinations.

Lovely neighbourhood with plenty of bistros, bars, theatres and shops in close proximity. The Rex, Paris's largest cinema is also just around the corner should you wish to indulge in a French movie.

"Home away from home in Paris"

I stayed in the apartment for 3 days in March and it could not have been better. The owner was very helpful in helping to plan the trip and the apartment was exactly as she had described it. It is stylish, clean and very comfortable. The location, in a quiet courtyard close to a very lively area with great shops, cafes and restaurants, could not have been better. For trips further afield there were lots of convenient local buses and access to 2 nearby metro stations. We spent our days and evenings out in the city and the apartment was always a welcome place to return to. It helped to make our holiday in Paris really memorable and I would recommend it to anyone hoping to find a home away from home.
