The South East England region
London is justifiably famed as one of the world's great cities. Its history spans over two millennia, from the days of the Roman Empire through the Middle Ages, the days of Shakespeare and Queen Elizabeth, the Victorian era when London was the centre of a world empire, right through to the present day. Our property is close to Greenwich pier, where you can take the Thames Clipper catamaran and disembark from piers at Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, Tate Modern Art Gallery or on the embankment at Charing Cross. Also direct from Greenwich pier, but in the other direction is the O2 stadium, which provides a wide range of entertainment and eating options.
Central London/Zone 2
The house is a 3 minutes walk into the beautiful Royal Greenwich Park, which is steeped in history and architectural significance. All within a very short walk are the following: National Maritime Museum, The Royal Observatory, the newly built spectacular Peter Harrison planetarium, the Queens House, the Rangers House and Fan Museum. The Old Royal Naval College, also just a short walk away, is set in landscaped ground on the river Thames. For your entertainment are the Greenwich Theatre, Greenwich cinema and market plus a multitude of fantastic restaurants and historic pubs.

"Great house, great location"
The house was wonderful: clean, well furnished, all the amenities we needed and a great location, handy to lots of things and yet quiet and relaxed. We certainly appreciated the toys and movies for our 4 year-old daughter, who also enjoyed the space to play in the garden.
We will certainly be staying here on our next trips to London and would happily recommend it to anyone else who is considering this neighbourhood.

"A joy to return to at the end of the day. Relaxing & very comfortable."
I booked this house for 10 days for 5 adults. It was a pleasure to communicate with the very helpful & thoughtful owners. They made access very easy and although we didn't see them they lived nearby and we knew they were there if we needed them. The house is extremely comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen well thought out and equipped. The bedrooms have lots of storage and wonderfully comfortable beds. There are books, magazines and helpful tourist information in the lounge. The house is in a small quiet development with a lovely well kept mature garden. There is parking for one car and it is an easy 10 minute walk through the pleasant suburban streets of Greenwich to the DLR station. Greenwich Park is minutes from the door. There is a good choices of places to eat. I cannot recommend this house and its owners too highly. A great find and we will certainly book it again when we next come to London if its available.

We often stay in holiday apartments for both business and pleasure and this is definitely one of the best we've stayed in. It's comfortable and nicely laid out, conveniently located, and very well equipped - we all remarked that it's a nice change to stay in a holiday apartment that is as thoughtfully equipped as your own home. There was no feel of an 'it's only a holiday let' attitude towards the property from the owners as you can often feel in other places. The owners were lovely and very helpful at all points, they obviously cared that their guests had a good experience. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

"Wonderful home convienent to all that Greenwich and London has to offer!"
So much better than staying at a hotel but with a comprable price! This house was wonderful--from it's convienent location in beautiful Greenwich to the ease of traveling into central London! We found the flat to be even better than described and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on return trips! Everything we could possibly need was provided and Diana and Kevin were extremely easy and enjoyable to work with! It was nice to have cookies and milk available on arrival--giving us time to immediately begin exploring the surrounding area! The house was within easy walking distance to many sites in Greenwich and the nearby train station made getting into central London a breeze! Their recommendations of what to see and do was spot on! There is so much to do we can't wait to return!

"Quiet and comfortable but with easy access to London"
We booked the house as our usual hotel was full during the tennis world tour finals at the O2
Everything that we could wish for was provided
A beautiful, comfortable house in a quiet location near Greenwich park
We hardly used the car as trains, buses and the clipper along the river were all cheap and frequent forms of transport making it easy to reach anywhere in London
There is a lot to see in Greenwich and many restaurants with varied cuisine
We would not hesitate to recommend this house
